I had them arrested then had them prosecuted. Haven't had problems since. Word gets around. This guy will prosecute you if you're caught on his land.
My sign read: NO HUNTING WITHOUT OWNER'S WRITTEN CONSENT NO EXCEPTIONS.
Good luck.

Get Tag numbers and their descriptions..Call 911 and have the Police respond. They can be charged with trespassing and destruction of property for tearing down your "NO HUNTING" signs. If they destroy any other personal property you could easily hold them at gunpoint until the police arrive.(I would not recommend you do that unless it is an EXTREME case). My best friend lost 4 cabled portable tree stands last season. We caught them stealing stand #4 and had their pictures on a trail camera set up. It was a slam dunk in court and all 3 Defendants got 60 days jail time and $1500 fine each......They had their guns confiscated, a lost the right to buy a Hunting license for 5 years.........The system DOES work after all...........

time to flow right into a greater proper trailer park... in case you somewhat want a 'trespassers would be shot' sign, i might think of you had greater proper be waiting to back that threat up with greater effective than merely words, because of the fact the subsequent guy tat violates your area, would gain this looking forward to you to be armed and in a position to return fireplace... be sure which you do study what the regulations are approximately te use of deadly tension on your own materials in the past the time is composed of use it... For the indicators, seem on Ebay, or do a information superhighway seek for indications. you're specific to locate precisely what you like. If it have been my place, i may well be setting up video cameras, the two which would be seen, and people who may well be hidden. Then making a element to enable all and sundry listening, comprehend that the cams are there... If the shed has basically one door on it, then objective a cam on the door... comparable ingredient for the abode, and storage.... additionally objective one down the driveway in direction of the line, and confirm which you do can see the cams interior the abode... I rather have 5 here, they checklist the final 7 days on countless loop, and cover the finished backyard, front and back, the shed, the dogs kennel, the front door, and the driveway, such because of the fact the malbox. by no skill had a difficulty because of the fact....

I would also highly recommend marking your property boundaries with purple paint.
Even if your signs are vandalized this marking system will stand up in court when used against trespassers.
Hidden trail cameras placed at the entrance to any and all access roads of your property will be extremely useful at getting license plate numbers and of course associated photos
of these dirt bags.
Last thing you want is an armed confrontation

1) Visit the county sheriff's office soon and let them know you have had problems in the past and will be keeping an eye on your property for tresspassers AND that you will only observe these individuals and be calling them for action.
2) Make sure that you have posted signs up, more than you need. Document this with a dated photograph.
3) Video and photo evidence, as JD mentioned, are very valuable.
Confronting someone tresspassing with a firearm is asking for trouble, but most will flee if you are video taping them.

To the other good advise you've been given, let me add - take photos of their automobiles/trucks, be sure to get the tags clear even if you have to clean them.
If you can get photos of the trespassers, even better.
Call the sheriff's department, inform them that there are armed trespassers on your property and that you are in fear of your life.
DO NOT CONFRONT THEM. Remember the idiot who killed six people when they confronted him for trespass.
Gather your information, take your photos (from concealment if possible), and press charges.
Good Luck and be careful,
Doc

i'm from ohio - usually walking out with a shotgun and telling them to leave this is private property will do it - if they have any kills take them - also need to say you called the sheriffs - they usually respond quicker - or call the sheriff/gamewarden immediately before heading out there- also be sure to always get their license plate# and as much info as possible if you talk to the tresspassers.
