I'm getting my new rilfe in a few days and i'm thinking of buying a scope for it. I dont know much... if anything about scopes so I was hoping I can get some help with this. I would like to be able to shoot Osamas head clean off from 200 yards away. Also, does anyone know where I can get some cheap 3030 ammo for practice? A link would be helpful. Thanks!

I just got a winchester 70 30-06 and people have been telling me just shooting it straight about 50 times will do it. Others say use over time. Then this old timer I met said to shoot it once and clean the barrel with solvent, repeat 10- 15 times. I would appreciate any feedback.

I'm not really sure what the best grain is to use I'm guessing the different grains have to do with the speed of the bullet, how far it travels and things of that nature. I think the grains range from 150-180 for a 30-30 so just looking for someone that knows a bit more about it. My gun is from Western Field . Thanks in advance.

After getting answers and reading reviews i have dropped the idea of buying a Beretta 92FS and would go for a Glock.I like Glock 37 .45GAP. Is this the best Glock has got ? Again i need it for self defense and would carry it with me on daily basis.

Can anyone explain the different reasons behind the law about not transporting live fish? I have a friend who got ticketed by a game warden because a catfish he had caught and he had put in his ice chest was not dead yet. Now, I can understand concerns about introducing unwanted species into another body of water but this fish was on ice! Are there other reasons for the law?

I have a x4 storm carbine in 9 mm ,i picked up a couple 32 round mags from sportsman guide but have some problems with it jamming with these mags.any one know of a modifaction i can do to them to get them to function right or another manafacture who makes 30 round or better that will work.its not the gun it functions perfect with the factory 10 rd 15 rd and 20 rd ,but the fctory dont make them in 30 rd appreate the help

I was shooting my German K98 Mauser today at a 15"x15" plywood board at 50 yards and out of 20 shots four hit the very right side of the target on the board at the top. Is there anyway to adjust the iron sights on my gun left and right or up and down? I didn't see any adjustment screws on the sights. I would like to hunt deer with it if I could get it sighted in.

I was at a local lake and he was checking licenses. I had one and showed him but was just lingering around for a few minutes. I casted overhand which I usually do and hooked him right by his chin. I believe that he is pressing charges he took my name, phone number and add down. it was an accident and I apologized but he had to go to the hospital to get some treble hooks taken out. anyone have any advice???
