It's SIG Sauer, btw.
SIG stands for "Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft" a Swiss firearms company.
Sauer comes from "J.P. Sauer and Sons" which is a German gun manufacturer.

The entire Sig Sauer Line of Pistols are at the top of the list for best in the world..The Swiss and Germans are known for their advanced technology and state of the art pistol making.
They are expensive, but worth every penny extra you will ever spend on one. The Sig P-228 & P-226 are the two top, most popular pistols I sell in my Gun Shop.I own several personally, and use them in Combat Pistol Competetions...You can't go wrong..

Sig Sauers are VERY Nice Top of the line guns. New you can have one for about 500-600 dollars. Its your choice. I really like Sigs but the 228 isn't my favorite.

All Sigs are quality guns. The only bad thing about them is that the Germans don't know how to make durable plastic grips for them. The grips often crack on them, and they are expensive to replace.

You bet... high qual... and you pay extra for it too!
Keep it clean though they get a little grumpy if you get to much gunk buildup in the action

very good pistol,, i use it at work,, it is very concealable, and very accurate. i liked it so much i bought one for personal use.
