No.
Absolutely not.
Although the deer may leave or become alarmed out of some sense of self protection.
I have game camera pictures showing a doe and a fox basically facing off for a period of 5 / 6 minutes over a pile of bait corn. The pictures are from a friend and I have personally been at this spot. The deer was "frightened" or "concerned" as you can see from her posture but she wasn't scared enough to leave that corn!!!
I suspect the fox was "hunting" mice or rats at the corn pile.
So I don't have an opinion that deer aren't scared by foxes. I have pictures.

I also saw white deer with brown spots in my yard in Howard County Maryland years ago. I thought they were goats at first. I saw them quite a lot for 5 -10 years then I moved away. The white deer were fatter and clumsier than the regular deer. That is the only difference I could see. I have a picture of them standing on their hind legs eating apples from the tree in the orchard. Actually, that was such a nice place, I wish I never moved away.!

Deer won't feel particularly threatened by a fox, but will probably not let it get too close. A fox is no real threat to a deer.

They can in fact scare off Deer, but I don't think it is due to the Deer fearing a Fox in any way. Most of what I've witnessed seemed to be the Deer were skittish or nervous to begin with, and the movement and flash of color along with the noise, made the Deer run off. I've even witnessed a Gray Squirrel scare the bejesus out of a Deer........
