A handgun has no "decibles". A fired cartridge will produce sound waves which can be measured by the "decibel" method which is a unit used to express differences in power of acoustics; equal to ten times the common logarithm of the ratio of two signals. Does that answer your question? If not then make the question more detailed and check your spelling.
