I had heard that Taurus was going to manufacture one of their .380s to hold 19 + 1 at one point.

If anybody can give me a link to look at that, I'd appreciate it.

For a little 380..NO but there are magazines that hold 18rds. + 1 in the chamber, most small calibers hold a small amount of rounds like 7 or 8 and a few makers hold up too 10rds.

My Glock G17 has a factory standard 17 round magazine that I put a Glock +2 floorplate on, giving me a total of 19 in the magazine, plus one in the pipe, giving me 20 total.
Just a side note, I won't swear to it, but I'm almost certian that you can get the +2 floorplate for just about any of the Glock magazines.
Another side note, you'll spend more time reloading the magazine than you do actually shooting the pistol!. It takes me a couple minutes to reload all 19 rounds then cycle the pistol and top off the magazine with another bullet, it only takes me about 20 seconds to empty the pistol into the 8 ring of a standard B8 target.

The 19+1 magazine isn't out on the market yet. It is doubtful if it will be released in any numbers due to many States passing laws preventing the sale or possession of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. Taurus is already taking flak over it's model 938 15+1 model for the same reason.

Glock made a few 17 round G17 mags with factory +2 baseplates. And alot of competition shooters use 17 round mags with +5 baseplates. Which would give you 22 rounds of 9mm for competition

I have 17+1 in my Browning HP. I also have a 30 round mag for it, but it's really a novelty and not practical at all.

Point is, you can find hi cap mags for many pistols, but they are aftermarket products and not factory.

I don't know of one for the .380 of course there are for other brands and calibers of pistols, like Glock for example. I remember readign about a sub machine pistol soemwhere that was in .380 maybe you could have one of those mags modified to fit your pistol. Anybody know which one it was? Chech "scorpion" maybe?

some uspsa guns hold 20+ depending on the caliber
40s&w can hold 20-21+1
9mm major can hold 24-29+1
38super about same as 9mm major
but these are "tuned" mags that you get from a gunsmith
