I want something to cover my eyes and area in paintball under the mask, my neck, ears, and maybe a little on my hands.

To know the level of my effectiveness, I bought a ghillie suit, plan to add natural vegetation, painted my gun with camouflage paint, etc...

But my face-- I already have a ghillie veil. Still, I want something to cover it, facepaint wise.

What would work? I was thinking charcoal.
(Note: Mud may work-- but I would feel kind of gross intentionally doing that because this isn't the US Army and my life doesn't depend on it. Also, oil would be obnoxious with all the mosquitos and such in Wisconsin.
I don't feel comfortable buying makeup at the store-- or even wearng it... even if it is manly makeup. Plus, it's just another thing I don't need.
What natural things would work? (WOULD charcoal do the trick effectively and safely?))

As you have already been advised you can buy camoflage face paint at ANY large Sporting Goods store Like Dick's, Cabelas, Sports Authority. or Army-Navy Surplus store etc.

With a veil, you won't need hardly any face paint underneath, just enough to tone down your face when it gets wet with persperation to avoid the "shine" that reflects off.
Charcoal will work temporarily but sweat will make it run.
You need to get over your issues with camoflage face paint..Look at all the effort you put into making a Ghillie suit...And wearing that isn't embarassing you and making you look strange? lol ...Think about it. Go out and buy some "Manly" face paint..It's not like you are at the drug store buying condoms....no one will even notice you or think it's strange.

Holy cow!! If you have spent the money for a ghillie suit, the cost for a bit of camo paint is nothing. If afteer buying your ghillie suit, you are so badly strapped for cash that a couple bucks for some camo paint is not within your reach, just use what we used to use in the Marines many years ago..... burned cork. Get an old cork, burn the end of it and rub it on your skin. It will rub off over time but it will do for a short time. If you want something more lasting, we also used to use shoe polish, messy but it lasts a long time.... and is hard to get off. My advice is to go to a sporting goods store that sells hunting gear and spend a couple bucks for a package of camo paint. You get three colors, they often contain mosquito repellant and can be easily removed.
