The Northern Italian Lakes have some massive Carp in them, that would be good.

Aslo the River Ebro in Spain (i think it's the ebro, it might be ibro) you may get some big catfish there as well.

If you go to the Caspian Sea (Iranian side) you will get some massive sturgeoun, those mofos have enough eggs to feed a starving african nation. Or you can go to the Mississippi River right by East St. Louis and catch some nice Brown Salmon.

Try Angling lines holidays, they've got a website, you can just do a search for it. They'll also send you a free catalogue of lakes and a DVD of all their locations, listings of fish stocks and sizes. I've been to france with them twice and would thoroughly reccommend them.

There are plenty of canals in Reims, the champagne region. Plenty of good fishing there also. Go to a tackle shop in Reims, plenty of them, and they'll give you good fishing locations.
