Who really believes he's going to leave the Yankees? As a Red Sox fan, I'd love to see him playing shortstop in Boston. It's probably unlikely, but wouldnt he be crazy to leave New York?

Or even also why is the foul line fair if it hits it past the 3rd or first base. Shouldn't it be the fair line and the fair pole then.

On a serious note, without all the typical craziness that this site stirs, I have this question:
I am on the West coast so I don't get to see much of the NY local news articles or get the word on the street concerning Giambi and his relationship with the Yankee organization and the fans. With the on going steroid issues with Giambi, is he still embraced by the Yankee fans? If he is, is this because of the numbers that he puts up? I'm sure that he is frequently boo'd when out of town. Like Bonds, loved at home hated on the road. I am just curious as to the feelings with Yankee fans on this issue.
Thanks-

They have a high-caliber offense and an above average pitching staff. By all accounts they should be in the race. Instead, they are in a tier just above the Pittsburgh Pirates and playing like a team that lacks buzz. Why?

I made a small bet with a friend of mine. He says that the Brewers will win the Central, I say the cubs will overtake them. It's only a 10$ bet, so it's nothing big, but do you think I made a good bet?

Don't get me wrong I love baseball in general but I think it would fun to see a change of teams in the divisions every "X" amount of years.

This way teams like Tampa Bay, Kansas City, Washington, and Florida could possiby have a better chance and post better records.

They have been in the league a long time and have not won the series AT ALL! Maybe it will become cool to be a 'Stros fan and like the loser...I hope not.

Kind of funny how their "ultimate insider" didn't say peep about guys heads growing twice their normal size when it was happening.

i think so we are having the best stretch of our season winning 11 out of 13 . We have been hot ever since we swept the white sox. aramis ramirez, soriano, lee our big three are all doing good also including fontenot who is hitting above 360 since he was called up and zambrano has been one of the best pitchers in the mlb since that dugout fight also milwaukee just lost 3 in a row and know hall is injured and the cubs upcoming series is the pirates. so what u think?

The Reds stink. Everybody knows it, no matter what they say to your face. I am a resident of dayton and I'm tired of upper management pinching pennies and not getting them the pitching they so desperately need.

That said, my question is this: If the Dayton Dragons (Cincy single A) went down to Cincinnati for a seven game series, how do you think it would go? Do you think it would be close? Or would Dayton blow them out of the water?

Personally, I think it will a great 3 game series. Both teams have explosive line-ups and decent pitching. Who takes this series? I like the fact that The Tigers start will Miller and then Bonderman. I think Sunday's game is the only game where Boston walks away with it. The other 2 games will be tight.
Your thoughts?

and may the best team win!

(I'm torn, kind of, I will always root for The Tigers....but I'd love to see Boston just walk away with The East!)(But,please, not at the expense of My Beloved Boys Of Summer!).
