They re-signed him last offseason. I believe St. Louis is paying him somewhere in the neighborhood of $5.5 mil. All this for a guy who has almost gone one year between starts! Now, their is still no timeframe for his return. But even when he comes back, I don't think he'll be the Mulder that everyone is expecting. So, do you think the Cards should just try to unload Mulder?

Is it me or are the Astros playing as bad as the Nationals and the Orioles, etc are?? Their record certainly supports that thought, since they have consistently been in the bottom of the NL all year.... Does anyone think they are actually as bad as such "bad teams" like the Nats?

Georgie Porgie willingly quit Yahoo Answers on his own volition. I am a mutual friend of his and he has found a new way of living life. He is still a Tigers fan and always will be but for various reasons had to quit using this forum. Would you like me to leave him a message from you, his friends?

You know, like including foul balls and stuff. I saw a 12 pitch at-bat the other night and it made me wonder what the record is. Does anyone know? Does anyone even keep a record of that?..lol

The 1970 or '71 Orioles had four 20 game winners in one season. Does anybody think that a team could ever have five 20 game winners? NO WAY!

Of course we all know that a BB doesn't count as an at-bat when calculating batting average. It seems to me that it should count as an at-bat when calculating OBP. Anyone know for sure?

Ivan Rodriguez is only 35 years old and needs less than 500 hits to reach 3,000. I know that no catcher has ever done that, but I'm having a tough time finding out who got the most hits in that position.
