I don't watch either game, but I was always puzzled why baseball guys wear a glove and Cricket guys don't. They still have to catch the ball. Would the Baseball guys be better off without the glove.

Who will win the AL Central and will the runner up win the wild card? Each team has at least 3 good starters and each team has very good hitting. The Indians and Tigers and neck and neck right now and the Twins are a ways out but what happened last year?

other teams have moved away from cities when they were good, the Milwauke Braves for example. why have the Dodgers and Giants become so famous for moving was it their fans, New York city, or East coast bias. would like to know from people living in New York.

I listen to ESPN and many of the talk show hosts always make fun of him and call him a "jerk" etc. I would like to know why... I am not a baseball fan, and never will be but I am curious why a player like him is treated like that. Are there specific incidents that happened in the past? Is it because he is making the richest salary in sports....? I am just trying to understand.

He looks like he's going to explode whenever he pitches. Two weeks ago I also saw him push Punto off the baseline while tagging him. He also yells at his catchers whenever there is a meeting.

What is up?

Alright everyone here is my situation, im entering my senior year next year, and over this summer i want to get unbelivable for next season and for my future for college and possibly beyond. Now ive been a two year varsity starter so far and have played decent so far, but I havent been scouted at all. My junior year I started right field and batted in the 300s for most of the season and made no errors in the outfield. I want to go to a division 1 school as a walk on because thats my only chance to play there.

I've dedicated my whole summer and beyond to baseball because I want to be really good next year to lead my team. So my question to all of you is what kind of things should I do this summer to get really good for my future. Examples how many swings should I take a day in the cages, etc, etc. Im going to work my tail off this summer to become the best I can be, so your input on my situation and what you think would be greatly appreciated

I need some new baseball trivia. Around the bar I've been recycling the same old stuff.

And when I say "trivia" I dont mean "who has the most stolen bases?" I'd like interesting stuff that someone can actually figure out.

For example, here is the good questions I've been recycling:

Name 5 Cy Young winners that are also convicted felons.

Name two major leaguers to hit a home run as a teenager AND at 40 yrs old or older.

Name every way a batter might reach base in a single at-bat.

I dont need these answered...I need more questions like these. If you'd like I'll give ya these answers for some more questions and answers.

NFL and NBA might not be bad either. :-) Thanks.
