yeah i agree with you..i think yankee fans are proving to be great fans this season because we're all used to belonging to a winning team. and still, we've all stuck to our team. THAT is what i'm proud of :D
haha don't worry, the only reason people get pissed when we say that is because the only thing they can say is things like, "11 in 07!" or "3 in 07!"
so hearing "27 in 07" reminds fans of other teams that the yankees have won FAR more world series than they could ever imagine their team winning.
....27 in 07!

27 in 07 bothers people because its a joke. The Yankees have no chance this year. Of course its a free country, you can say whatever you want. But before you say whatever you want, you need to learn how to spell. Read your question back to yourself and you'll see that it makes no sense at all. "Why does it bother that yankee fans rigth 27 in 07?" What the hell is rigth?
Your questions should have read "Why does it bother some people that Yankees fans write 27 in '07?"
Go back to school.

I think it's destressing to the rest of us that there may be people out there so out of touch in reality that you have have positions where you could affect us.
ie, going into surgery and the doctor says "27 in 07". I immediately get up. He's had enough to drink or he is way too stupid to be my doctor.
My question back to you would be why the hell would you have to write (not rigth) it anyway?
Are you trying to convince someone, or give some wavering Yankee fan hope just in case they are getting off the $200 million dollar bandwagon.

You raise a good point, Yankee fans have every right to be proud of their team, win or lose, and 27 in 07 should be every Yankee fans goal and battle cry. And believe me, this is hard for me to acknowledge being a Dodger fan all my life.

From the seasoned Yankee fans, I see nothing wrong with it. But I just find it amusing to keep seeing it all the time from the kids that were in diapers the last time the Yankees won the WS. Nothing "wrong" with it, just amusing.

They forget that this is a free country & we can say what we want as long as we are not hurting anyone.
