Alright everyone here is my situation, im entering my senior year next year, and over this summer i want to get unbelivable for next season and for my future for college and possibly beyond. Now ive been a two year varsity starter so far and have played decent so far, but I havent been scouted at all. My junior year I started right field and batted in the 300s for most of the season and made no errors in the outfield. I want to go to a division 1 school as a walk on because thats my only chance to play there.

I've dedicated my whole summer and beyond to baseball because I want to be really good next year to lead my team. So my question to all of you is what kind of things should I do this summer to get really good for my future. Examples how many swings should I take a day in the cages, etc, etc. Im going to work my tail off this summer to become the best I can be, so your input on my situation and what you think would be greatly appreciated

You become better through repetition. The more times you do the same thing the same way the better you get. There are players that take 2,500 ground balls a day at their infield position and just try to do the same thing for each ground ball. If you have access to a pitching machine and can hit for two or three hours a day perfecting your swing that will help as well. The most important recommendation I can give you is to have a good coach available to you during all of this practice time. You can actually hurt yourself if you develop some bad habits and they are not corrected quickly. If you have the God given ability than practice through repetition will get you to the point where you are as good as you can be. It would be hard to say if it would be enough for you to reach your goals. Good luck!!

Well you must work on every aspect of your game, not just your hitting, how is your running speed, when you said you batted 300 FOR MOST OF THE SEASON, does this mean you fell below 300, not good, how is your throwing? how many assists did you have? They want strong arms too. How many runners tagged up on you? How many bases did you steal? Get a scout or three to show up and watch you.
