i think so we are having the best stretch of our season winning 11 out of 13 . We have been hot ever since we swept the white sox. aramis ramirez, soriano, lee our big three are all doing good also including fontenot who is hitting above 360 since he was called up and zambrano has been one of the best pitchers in the mlb since that dugout fight also milwaukee just lost 3 in a row and know hall is injured and the cubs upcoming series is the pirates. so what u think?

I hope they win the NL Central, but as you, I and every Cubs' fan knows, don't get your hopes up until its over. Things are looking good right now, but we're still in second place and there are a lot of games left. Lets just hope we come out healthy and on our game after the all-star break. Go Cubbies! World Series 20preferablysoonerthanlater!

first of all, the Cardinals are no longer "relatively no longer that sturdy". we've the ultimate a million-2-3 punch in commencing pitchers, the ultimate baseball participant that the international has seen this decade at 1st, an all-celeb and golden glove catcher, a third basemen that probable would desire to of won rookie of the year this year if he didnt get injured, and a warm hitting outfeild. And the Cardinals are first interior the branch, so for sure that tutor have been notably sturdy. 2nd of all, That "real" group your speaking approximately? i might would desire to disagree. Lee is over rated. Soriano is hit or omit. Byrd is unquestionably a respectable participant, yet come on. respectable isnt magnificent. And your rotation that "relatively comes around"? If it became into so sturdy, the Cubs could be doing extra useful than 4th place, and wouldnt lose any video games. Which they do. ok, im sorry if that sounds rude ^^^. I basically get a lttle heated as quickly as I communicate approximately baseball (: Now, to solutions your question: something is plausible, however the Cubs are 10 video games out of 1st. regardless of in the event that they did a technique or the different get on the brink of 1st, the Cubs will do what they constantly do: CHOKE.

The way that the cubs are going, they can contend and perhaps run away with the division the way Milwaukee is doing. All of the cubbies pitchers are on the ball, Lee, Ramirez, Fontenot, and Soriano are adding to that. The cubs have a very good chance of becoming division and playoff contenders.

It's kind of funny that it took the fights and ejections in early June to wake the Cubs up. Right now, they look like the real deal in the NL Central. The Brewers are starting to fade, it seems, just as the Cubs are getting things going. Barring any major injuries, the Cubs are likely to win the NL Central.

Hey! You are not even factoring in the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals! We are only 7.5 games out!

I thought the NL Central was really up for grabs this season and expected the Cubs to make a major run for it. I believe they have the talent and grit to make it happen. Of course, being a Cards fan, it pains me to type this.

It's been 100 years - it's past time already!!!!!

They can take this from the Brewers - they want it more.

I think the cubs chances are great to win the division.

theyve been on a great stretch as of late and before the season started i had a feeling theyd win.

If Zambrano keeps it up, Lee keeps hitting and gains some more power, then they have a great chance, the Brewers i think are too young and inexpirienced

first of all I would just like to say that I'm a huge whitesox fan and that the cubs only have three games to go with milwakee and bill hall hasnt been having that good of a year so it's not that bad and watch those sneaky cardinals becasue the cardinals had the worst record going into the playoffs last year so you better belive by the end of the year they will be a contender so the answer is no they have to much competition

They are going in the right direction and its hard to believe the Brewers will actually hold on to their first division title in like forever. I mean they haven't had a winning season in a couple decades. If the Brewers do colapse, its anyone's division but the Cubs look like they are in the best position to capitalize.

Well my man it would be nice to see it happen for them Cubbies, I'd really like to see Chicago go up against the Detroit Tigers in the world series. If that would happen I'd have to ride with my boyz from the D. Hope to see you and them Cubs there. Peace
