The Reds stink. Everybody knows it, no matter what they say to your face. I am a resident of dayton and I'm tired of upper management pinching pennies and not getting them the pitching they so desperately need.

That said, my question is this: If the Dayton Dragons (Cincy single A) went down to Cincinnati for a seven game series, how do you think it would go? Do you think it would be close? Or would Dayton blow them out of the water?

I'm a big boy, I haven't deluded myself into truly believing the dragons would win.

The Reds have pretty solid hitting (w/ Dunn. Griffey, Phillips, etc...), but with pitchers who throw pitches up there like they were beach balls, I dunno.

Some of those pitches, my 90yr old neighbor could probably get a piece of.

Phillips is obviously jealous of the fulfillment the Cardinals have had. If i became in contact with the Reds club i'd be jealous too. i've got by no ability seen something somewhat like what Cueto did. perhaps whilst Martinez threw down previous guy Zimmer some years in the past, yet heavily, kicking like a schoolgirl? If I had something to do with the Reds employer i'd conceal my face in shame. Phillips desires to p.c.. some classification from someplace quickly via fact he has none. perhaps Rolen or Edmonds can practice him slightly. i've got reported it formerly and that i will say it returned, if there is any justice in baseball, St. Louis will win the branch this 365 days and not those loser Reds.

yes the Reds stink in major league terms But there's a big difference between single A and the majors. I've heard people say that some of the best college football teams could beat some of the bad NFL teams. I dont buy it. I don't think they would stand a chance.

I can understand your frustration based on the question you have asked. Of course you know that the Reds are far better than any single A team. Your real question is what can you, as a fan, do to help Reds management understand that they need to do something positive with the team. It really gets down to ownerships willingness to make money and accept a losing team. Get someone in there with the Steinbrenner mentality and you would have a winner in a few years. Bottom line is that the fans have to voice their displeasure with the ownership and get them to do something about this situation.

It would not be close. No matter what you say or think, there is just a HUGE gap between A-ball and the Majors. Seriously, that's like putting the best high school team in America against an average team of 8 year-olds. I don't care how good the A-ball team is, there is usually a good reason why the players are where they are.

No matter how bad the Reds are, the Reds would more than likely sweep a Single A team.

it would be no contest. the reds would win. shoot, it's the best in the minors that make it up to the majors. so in essence the worst players in the reds organization would be in the single a squad.

i loved the last team to win the series. hatcher, sabo, o'neill (traitor), davis, rijo, duncan, rivera, dibble, myers, schilling. what a team

marge schott i think was a major problem in what they are now.

I live outside of Cincy and think they totally suck. So I'm going for Dayton on this one!

Maybe it would be a little close...

As bad as the Reds are i doubt they would lose to a minor league team.
