Personally, I think it will a great 3 game series. Both teams have explosive line-ups and decent pitching. Who takes this series? I like the fact that The Tigers start will Miller and then Bonderman. I think Sunday's game is the only game where Boston walks away with it. The other 2 games will be tight.

(I'm torn, kind of, I will always root for The Tigers....but I'd love to see Boston just walk away with The East!)(But,please, not at the expense of My Beloved Boys Of Summer!).

Since we are good friends, I'm going to be nice.J/K, I will always be nice to my Georgie:-)I have to agree with the Tribe guy, I think it will be a split.But maybe you will take the series, who knows.I no longer argue with my friends when our teams are playing each other.It creates to much bitterness.May the best team win tonight and all weekend.No matter what, our friendship will always stay intact.And if the Blue Jay's take the entire series from Cleveland, I for one will be shocked.

Ok I do not think the Tigers will be swept. However I don't think they will sweep the Sox either. It's going to be a split. I see the Red Sox taking game 1 and 3 with the Tigers taking game 2. As for the Indians my first goal is 2 out of 3 then a sweep.
Barry R, those "crappy Indians" are 7-4 against you. It wasn't a sweep by the way you took 2 out of 3.

Yeah, it's going to be a great weekend. And yes,the Tigers will probably take 2 of 3 from the Red Sox. I mean, they flat out stunk against Texas. And Texas sucks. What are they going to do against a good team (great team) like the Tigers? Give up 1293829837 runs and score -4?

I am a huge tigers fan! and I mean huge because I am a 15 year old girl...yes girl....and my room is decorated completely in tigers stuff! I definitely think that the tigers can do it...They are an amazing team without a weak spot in there lineup with polanco and maggs and guillen ....and they have super good defense with inge and pudge.The only question is whether or not the Tigers will 'show up' to play...if ya know what I mean...The red sox are also a very good team...but i think that as long as the tigers come to play...they will definitely win!!! GO TIGERS!!!!

I am so excited to watch this series. It will show what type of team my Sox really are, because they will be playing against a quality team. I am looking foward to watching the Tigers, because they are a much different team, since the last time we played them. I don't want to predict how many wins, because I am superstitious! I just think it's going to be a great series and how can you hate the Tigers? They are a hard working team with a heck of a coach.

All is fair in love and war they say, so, in honor of my Yankees I would have to say Sweep the Sox to pull us closer in the East standings, but in the Catch 22, I have to say go Sox, to sweep the Tigers to possibly better position ourselves for the Wildcard, if necessary.
It will be a good series, no doubt about it

This time, I gotta say I dont think so. The Tigers are an awesome team, but I think the Sox are better.
Also, I want the Sox to win, because you know the Yankees are gonna lose to the Angels, so the further back the Yankees fall, the more I laugh.

I know Boston has Great Closers,Im not familiar,with the Tigers closers,Ah,,My moneys on Detroit,I say they take 2-3

Sox will take 2 out of 3. Tonight will be the loss..Really, I hope I am right but if not, thats ok too..lol..I just hope Boston can keep their bats alive and continue where they left off last night. I was at last night's game and it was GREAT! And I realize it was against Tampa Bay but, hey it could happen.
