really its all about defense. Dont make alot of errors and really hit and your in. Go to batting cages and focus when ur team practices. Throw the ball around with friends or brothers or sisters or friends. Work out alot to. They like strong well built athletes. jus dont take steroids

Hitting. The one thing that the scouts/coaches will notice is your bat. If you can power a line drive beyond the infield every time, you will seperate yourself from the crowd and be recognized as a deadly hitter. As long as you are fairly quick in the outfield and you get good jumps on fly balls, you should be able to catch a good deal of the hits coming your way. But the important thing is your hitting, so take tons of batting practice in the batting cages and on the field (whiffle balls help, too). Get a good muscle build so that you have enough power, and develop your arm strength, and that's pretty much it. Good luck man.

You have to be really good for a scout to even look at you let alone signing you to a minor league contract. With that being said, if you are really good, playing at a level of excellence they are looking for, they will find you. If you really love the game than keep trying to improve yourself and see what happens.

You just gotta want it man. You gotta want it more than anything. You've gotta practice more than anybody else. Hustle your *** of in practice too. Believe me coaches notice. You'll get more playing time which will make you better. EVERY DAY. Don't say "Well I practiced twice a slong yesterday so I'm not gonna practice today." like my little brother would say. You've gotta stay in shape too. Lift weights and get stronger. Hope to see you with LA some day! (Dodgers that is)
