I made a small bet with a friend of mine. He says that the Brewers will win the Central, I say the cubs will overtake them. It's only a 10$ bet, so it's nothing big, but do you think I made a good bet?

I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of this blowing up in your face. The Cubs are surging right now, whereas the Brewers have been maintaining their position for the past month or so without really making any significant leaps. Since I am a Cardinals fan, it pains me too much to think of who could actually win the division, but the first couple weeks after the All Star game should be very telling.

I believe the Brewers will come back to reality in the second half of the season and I give the Cubs a good chance to beat them this year. For that to happen I believe the Cubs will have to go find a solid starting pitcher to help them down the stretch. I am not sure I would have made that bet but you have a shot at winning his money.

Theres not a chance that the cubs will win the central bro. the brewers will take it this year and if for some crazy reason they decide to start losing then the cardinals will pull ahead, not the cubs.

Being a Brewers fan I hope your wrong. However the Cubs are talented they have a good chance of winning the NL Central.

I'd say it was a good bet.

The Cubs did have the most wins in the majors in June. They seem to be clicking right now.

We still have a few months of games to go so lets just see what happens.

Didn't think you hear good talk about Cubs from a Sox fan ehh??

You're both going to lose. The Cards are going to come from behind in the second half and win the Central. They're already improving. They took three of four from Arizona, and Chris Carpenter will be back in a few weeks. So, I'm predicting a Cardinal comeback.
