He will not be rushed back and right now his scheduled return is the end of July. A week or two with one of the Yankee farm teams and he should be ready to go, barring any unforeseen setbacks. However, if the Yankees are out of the race when he is due back they could shut him down for the year if he is not 100%

the last i heard was like the end of July like in 2-3 weeks. I cant wait till he comes back....we need his pitching really bad. He is an amazing pitcher and his injury was very unfortunate.....but hopefully when he comes back we can get back on track and win some more games. I cant wait till Philip comes back. GO HUGHES!!! GO YANKEES!!! =D

Ya he's not guna see the bigs again this year... why would the Yankees overexpose him this early in his career when they're back in the AL East by double digits ... Go Sox!
