The lions have played themselves into another draft position, after a promising start, so do the Lions now start Stanton, and see what they have in him? Do they try and draft another QB in round 1?

Players in the NFC:

Galloway- 56 receptions, 985 yrds, 17.6 yrds/G, 6 TDs
Owens- 76 receptions, 1307 yrds, 17.2 yrds/G, 14 TDs
C.Johnson- 42 receptions, 655 yrds, 15.6 yrds/G, 4 TDs
Crayton- 41 receptions, 624 yrds, 15.2 yrds/G, 7 TDs
Curtis- 64 receptions, 970 yrds, 15.2 yrds/G, 5 TDs
R.White- 66 receptions, 999 yrds, 15.1 yrds/G, 5 TDs
Buress- 65 receptions, 935 yrds, 14.4 yrds/G, 10 TDs
Fitzgerald- 84 receptions, 1169 yrds, 13.9 yrds/G, 8 TDs
Driver- 78 receptions, 1016 yrds, 13.0 yrds/G, 2 TDs
Holt- 83 receptions, 1055 yrds, 12.7 yrds/G, 7 TDs
Colston- 87 receptions, 1092 yrds, 12.6 yrds/G, 9 TDs

I don't see why he should be in the pro-bowl. He gets the most receptions which naturally means he would get plenty of TD's but he doesnt really make the yardage per game.

As far as i am concerned, the two people deserving of a pro bowl place is Owens and Jennings. You could make a case for Galloway and Crayton too.

because he was in the Mitchell Steroid Report, well then shouldn't Jose Canseco's 1988 MVP Award and Ken Caminiti's 1996 MVP Award's also be taken away, because these guys were also in the report. Why is Schilling singling out Clemens here?

What does the loss of Willie Parker mean for the Steelers? Does losing him actually help their chances of getting farther in the playoffs?

It seems Davenport did things Parker couldnt...he got into the endzone.

Honestly, the guy is garbage. Can't cover. Constantly making illegal tackles from behind because he blew coverage. He has gone downhill since his rookie year. Honestly, he's a defensive liability.

My wife and I recently bought an old sports program at a flea market. When we took it home, I found that a few pages had been stuck together. When I separated the pages and opened them up, we found that one entire page was filled with autographs from old baseball players. Pie Traynor, Roberto Clemente, Satchel Paige, etc. The date on the inside copyright stamp reads 1968. All of the autographs are written with what looks like an old fountain tip ink pen. Because of this I think that they are all genuine.

So whats the best way to determine their value? Any ideas as to what this might be worth? We only paid two dollars for it anyway so we're just curious. Thanks in advance for any responses.

I'm a Steeler fan. I would root for Jacksonville. Their team is full of unselfish players, and man they are physical.

Ive read all the articles online, and jayski says NASCAR has to change for the better by being a more diverse sport. I thought NASCAR until this past year, was @ the top of NASCAR Mountain? The highest in popularity it had been! So why the big push for more diversity? The fans aren't demanding it are they? And NASCAR is the highest its been so money isnt the issue i suppose right? So what is.. Is it just politically wrong for the sport to be predominantly white?

Not a racist, Just wondering what fans thought about this issue.. Are you mad @ NASCAR for not being more diverse? and is it really NASCARs fault?

Don't get me wrong, Ryan is a great pitcher. But do you think he is the best ever? He threw so many wild pitches and had close to 300 losses. So do you think he should be regarded as the best? Think about Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Pre-steroid Roger Clemens, Phil Niekro, the Paige, and Seaver.

Which would you rather see in the NHL? A couple of teams win 8 of the next 10 Stanley Cups or a different team win every year for the next 10 years? Which is better for the NHL? Why? What would most fans prefer to see? Powerhouse teams or 30 teams within 10 points of each other all year?

I am not whining about officiating and I hate when people do. Last night though, I saw 2 of the strangest calls I have seen in some time.
The one I mentioned in an earlier post of a fight between Laraque and Chara where they both got 2 minutes for delay of game.
Then later in the evening, there was a bit of a brawl between Phx and SJ and everyone was kind of going nuts, Bernier punching while he still had his stick in his hand, Carcillo and Roenick going at it, then Carcillo skates away from Roenick and is the 3rd man in on Bernier, Roenick goes over and hauls him off of him and in the process, Carcillo's knee bent awkwardly. I know Roenick was not an aggressor, but he was scrapping and by the end, he was just playing mediator but he was still involved, yet he GOT NOTHING and Phx got the extra 5 for fighting. Even Roenick seemed shocked while on the bench that he was not in the box.
Therefore, they missed out on alot of fighting major calls last night.

To refresh your memory, he is the Cubs fan that "interfered" with Moises Alou in Game 5 of the NLCS on a foul ball that he and Alou both went for...and inadvertenly he made contact with the ball and Alou couldn't make the catch. (I still don't think it's his fault). Give me your thoughts on what you think he is up to these days
