I don't see why he should be in the pro-bowl. He gets the most receptions which naturally means he would get plenty of TD's but he doesnt really make the yardage per game.

As far as i am concerned, the two people deserving of a pro bowl place is Owens and Jennings. You could make a case for Galloway and Crayton too.

Im basing my opinion on the yardage per game stats.

Crayton has been far more effective than Colston. He might have much less receptions, and yards but he is consistenty gaining good yardage and scores almost as many touchdowns as Colston.

Jennings does deserve to go. 50 receptions and almost 1000 yrds and 12 touchdowns. thats great numbers. Colston sees far more of the ball yet his numbers are only a little bit higher except for touchdowns.

First off that is yards per catch.

If guys are only getting 12.6 yards per game, we are in some big trouble. Second of all...

On that list, he has the most receptions, and the second most yeards, along with the 4th most TD's. Driver is going to the probowl and Colston has a lot better stats there.

For half those other guys, Crayton doesn't get it. Its Owens. Nobody on the Falcons offense should go, so bye bye White. Ocho Cinco has been over shadowed by Housh this year. Curtis has had 2 big games which gives him around 400 yards and all 5 TD's. Burress doesn't show up when his team needs him to.

You can easily make a case for all the rest, but Colston has some of the best numbers up there. He deserved to make it over Driver.

Good luck!!

Edit: If Jennings deserves to go, then you need to get rid of Driver. He is by far the worst WR pick out of this crop. Jennings only has TD's. He has the 3rd lowest yard total, and in 14 games is on 62.7 YPG. Crayton is even worse he only has 44.5 YPG. Colston on the other hand has an even 78 YPG. So tell me on Yards per game...who deserves to go.

It should be Colston.

Edit 2: Also ...your little calculation isn't yards per game, its yards per catch. =]

You contradict yourself.

Colston's numbers and Fitzgerald's numbers are almost identical and yet Fitzgerald gets to go and Colston doesn't?
That is what is not fair.

Jennings doesn't deserve it....what are you, a Packers fan?
Crayton? Are you kidding me? Half of the yards and receptions of Colston (and less TD's) and you think he should go? Based on what?

Edit: No receiver with 41 catches is ever going to go to the pro-bowl as a receiver.
Colston has more 2X more receptions, more TD's and more yards than Crayton.
This is even more impressive considering Colston is lining up against the #1 CB every week. Crayton is not.

If you don't have 1,000 yards receiving, it is tough to justify a pro-bowl slot considering the competition.

Colston has more receptions, yards and TDs than Pro Bowler Donald Driver.

Jennings numbers look good, but he's not the #1 receiver who beats double coverage and top corners, his situation is similar to Wes Welker.

Colston is the #1 in his team, he actually has more receptions than anyone else in this list.

If youre main criteria for WR getting to the Pro Bowl is purety yards per catch (which is what you meant instead of yards per GAME), sure... Jennings and T.O. make sense. But Jennings isn't even the leading receiver on his team, in terms of number of catches and yards gained.

For those who think Colston doesnt belong... most catches in the NFC.. 3rd in yardage...4th in touchdowns. That is consistent, constant production.

It's not all about the TDs. Colston is a possession receiver. He makes important catches when they need them most. He's also the leading receiver on a high power offense. I don't know if he truly got "snubbed".... But he's definitely deserving of a pro-bowl spot.
