The answer to your question is not a simple one. Right now it appears that both players used steroids prior to the implementation of the drug testing plan and before in was banned by MLB. It could turn out that MLB will do nothing to these players that will keep them from their eligibility into the HOF. However, they still have to be voted in and the writers that vote players into the HOF might not vote for them if they are found to have actually used the drugs. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

i could actual vote them in if I have been a sportswriter. employing steroids recreationally, which they did is undesirable, yet blame Bud Selig for not implementing the policies and not banning steroids until eventually now than 2003..... in fact i'm not making excuses for them, because of the fact i comprehend that each and each single baseball participant plagued by bronchial asthma and convalescing from surgical treatment ought to take steroids by potential of way of dr's. prescription and therapy. that's a no-brainer, however the misinformed, uneducated, pretend followers and bandwagoners do not look to get the message that each and every person convalescing from surgical treatment or plagued by bronchial asthma has taken steroidal medicine (myself lined) so as to get better quicker, relieve swelling on the harm website and likewise to enhance their high quality of existence. I doubt that anybody could have the coronary heart to flow to all of us donning a steroidal bronchial asthma pump and phone them a "cheater", enormously if that man or woman is a expert athlete..... anyhow, on account that steroids destroy your eyesight so as which you won't be able to see the ball of course mutually as hitting or pitching, or how they weaken your bone and muscle shape to zap your "potential", and how they make your muscle tight and too huge the place you won't be able to swing a bat correct or pitch a ball, or ultimately the way it ruins your psyche the place you're consistently paranoid or offended and don't have the mindframe to document to the ballpark daily, how can steroids probable supply a miracle scientific look after those 1000's of gamers that took them and would't even hit a HR if their existence depended on it????? Do the pretend followers, bandwagoners or merely undeniable haters have an answer or scientific study effect that proves that Clemens or Bonds did not use brute potential and uncooked capability to hit HR's or win Cy youthful awards????? Timeframes????? Bugged telephones????? Blood assessments with spectacular quantities of mentioned PED's of their structures????? sound asleep in an analogous mattress as Barry and Roger????? How do the haters get those dumb suggestions?????

I personally would vote them in. Even though Bonds definately cheated (Clemens definately didn't), he still was so much fun to watch before the whole steroids thing, and I think deserves it.
In the wise words of Stephen Colbert: "Athletes perform for our entertainment. Therefore, performance-enhancing drugs are really entertainment-enhancing drugs".

It all depends on what MLB decides to do.....IMO MLB needs to create a cut off Date if any player was found guilty of using steroids after that date then they should be banned from MLB....Prior to the date a lesser punishment or no action at all.....Clemens might make it.....Bonds I don't think he will get it due to his baggage with BALCO and his perjury trial

I wouldn't.
Is it fair that all of the (or, as far as we know) other Hall of Famers all earned it? Roger Clemens was looked up to as an amazing all time pitcher, and now we see why.

it doesnt really matter what YOU would do...Of course they wont. Poor marion jones had to give back everything, and so should all these cheating losers that have to cheat at a stupid game anyway. Id love to see these so called "athletes" get popped by a free safety while running full speed toward the end zone. Ive never seen nfl players standing around, spitting tobacco and grabbing themselves all game. Baseball is for losers who have no skills anyway...O wait that would cover golf as well.

The operative word is "covicted". If they are found guilty, I very seriously doubt that they will EVER get into the hall of fame, much like the Pete Rose fiaso.

Yes, they both will eventually get into the Hall. It will take a few tries, but I believe that their numbers are just too good to keep them out. However, if the Hall lets these cheaters in, they must let in Pete Rose.

Athletes that use drugs are a disgrace to the true meaning of the word "athlete" I'm sorry, but I cannot accept, at least in my mind anyway - someone who makes millions of dollars competing in a sport they supposedly "love" and having to resort to crap like steroids and HGH's. Can't they train?!? OR is that too much work for them?! They are lazy and even worse ... they are CHEATERS! - This is of course ONLY if they are guilty !
