The real question is - why is Curt Schilling speaking as if he is the voice of baseball? Unless he gets voted into the position (a position that really doesn't exist), he doesn't need to be speaking. I have a serious problem with people who think their opinions are more important than the rest and clearly Curt has this problem. I compare him to a guy like John Smoltz. Both have had great careers. Smoltz will do a few radio shows here and there and give his opinion WHEN ASKED FOR IT. He has some strong takes on things too but he doesn't force them down our throats like Schilling does. The most ironic thing of all would be for Schilling's name to come up in the next report...who's to say he's never taken anything himself over the years? He acts like he's the gold standard but how funny would it be if his name was linked to performance enhancers in the future. It would only prove what we already know anyway - that he's a blowhard and just likes to hear himself speak. He shouldn't be signaling anyone out because he's not in the authority position to do so, he pitches for the Boston Red Sox - that's it. He really needs to learn to shut his big mouth and leave the politics to the men in charge.

Schilling has a weblog. He writes products expressing his opinion on line. no person evidence reads his perspectives. there isn't any editorial board. it fairly is barely one guy's perspectives, it fairly is all. He won't even advise each and every little thing that he posts, he could be content textile throwing an psychological grenade at us and observing the way it is going. Schilling had something to declare on nationwide radio (the two FSR or ESPN) back in could approximately Bonds and his record. Bonds declined to take the bait, yet a good number of people did. Does Curt Schilling think of that Commissioner Selig is going to strip Clemens of his Cy youthful Awards? Does Schilling think of Selig is conscious his elbow from a hollow interior the floor? Schilling is making use of the 1st exchange to skewer somebody who has been named interior the Mitchell record. Is the Mitchell record in keeping with powerfuble evidence. some, yet no longer all. incredibly the place Senator Mitchell had cancelled exams and united statesmailing labels, the evidence is compelling. definite, Gagne is an entire fool for paying for unlawful drugs by ability of verify and having them sent to the Dodgers clubhouse fairly of to a mailboxes etc under an assumed call. yet that form of evidence replaced into lacking against Clemens, purely the unsupported testimony of McNamee. So, no, Schilling isn't a hypocrite, he's purely stirring the pot, something he enjoys doing.

Schilling actually said years ago that both Canseco and Caminiti should return their awards. He has now come out and said that he believes Clemens might be the greatest pitcher of all time and that he and Roger are friends but to be consistent that he believed Roger should also return his (IF) he is found to be guilty and not because his name turned up on the Mitchell report.

Schilling is a dunderhead..and typical Red Sox moron..
he should be subjected to a lie detector test..since the red sox are the only team with an employee caught by the Police with possession of steroids and syringes..
and every team member of that years team including Schilling should be investigated and on the list as suspects..

Schilling likes to hear himself speak. The 'caraziest' thing is that he believes his awards should be stripped if he doesnt say or admit to use. So I'm wondering, if Clemens does admit it, does Schilling believe that he shouldkeep them?

To those above.
I think Curt Schilling has a right to speak. Those are the people who should be speaking. The players who didn't take drugs got directly impacted in the pocketbook by those who did. Additionally Schilling really owed a lot and looked up to Clemens; so for him to make the comments I think really give them weight in my opinion.

schillings singling out clemens cuz he idolized and looked up to this guy and it shattered his heart to see roger's name on the cheat sheet
schilling believes that clemens should have the awards taken away if he earned them after he started using juice, not the cy youngs that he got before he used roids
