I'm not looking to be a mountain guide, rather I need a recognized certification for single-pitch situations,so that my company's insurance policy will allow me to take my clients cragging. Anyone know any schools that offer that? I'm in Thunder Bay, ON, Canada, but I would obviously be willing to travel for this.

I think it is b/c think about the new england patriots, how could they beat 2 of the best teams (cowboys, colts) and barley beat the ravens and the eagles. The Ravens and Eagles are not as good as the cowboys and the colts, and if anyone watched the game against the ravens monday u could see that brady was shaving point he threw the ball in the middle of the field where noone was,and he threw the ball right into moss's hand and he dropped it. soooooo

The Gordie Howe hat trick is traditionally thought of as a goal, an assist, and a fight - all in one game. I know that 'ol Gordie only had one, and I was wondering how the heck you would find out who has had the most . . .

This is a tough one, so even if someone can figure out GHHs for this year, it would be cool.

My wife found a Remington 700ADL at Wal-Mart for $300.00. The rifle has a 22 inch barrel, and iron sights, and is chambered for 30-06. She's bought it for my Christmas gift for this year.

Two questions....I intend to put a scope on the rifle, should I get see-through rings so that the iron sights are still available for use, and what scope would you recommend?

I live in East Tennessee, so we've got a fair amount of vegatation in the woods, so I'm probably looking at a maximum of 200 yard shots for a deer. I'd like to find a good quality scope for no more than about $150.00.

I’m into capoeira and have trained for over a year. And I’m starting to train on doing flips. Only problem is that I can not yet do the full body flips (over the full length of the body) as the higher grades do. The problem is mostly due to a lack of muscle power. I’d like some tips from gymnasts, capoeirista and other martial artists for muscle or other excercises I can do to improve this. Preferably stuff I can do at home and without using too much equipment.

Looking at them now it's hard to believe . Was two seasons with a winning record enough for them ? What's next another 20 years of rebuilding with 20 different quarterbacks while the Packers dominate the division ?

I'm going against LT and Earnest Graham, so I'll be struggling no matter what, but here are my options:

Kolby Smith
Ron Dayne
Chester Taylor
Fred Jackson

Looks like none of these guys are sure things, especially since a couple are just filling in for injured starters. Or if there are any other RBs that I may find on the waiver wire, let me know!

Thanks for any insight.

I think everybody would love to be able to own a N.F.L. team. But what if you were actually able to. How much do the teams cost? If you could own one:
Which team?
What changes would you make?

Newman made remarks stating that he was going to go after kitna, and stated in so many words that he had the money set for the fines that would ensue. If he fouls kitna, I think he should suspended for the remainder of the regular season, what are your thoughts?

I'm facing a tough #2 seed in the first round of the playoffs, so I need some big production this week. I have a ton of WR options but not many no-brainers to me. I would appreciate any expert advice.

Last week, I started:

Marques Colston
Justin Gage
Calvin Johnson

I also have on my roster:

Shaun McDonald
Chris Henry

Plus, these enticing options are available for pickup:

Arnaz Battle
Bryant Johnson
Sidney Rice
Patrick Crayton
Reggie Williams
Isaac Bruce

Some big WRs have under-produced, and DET's offense has been inconsistent. So many choices. Any insight would be much appreciated!

If the Packers had listened to Bret Favre and brought Randy Moss to Green Bay along with Driver and Jennings

1) Would the Packers be undefeated now?
2) If so, would they be a sentimental favorite to complete a perfect season or an unpopular team?
3) What kind of numbers do you think Favre would have put up?

I am a huge Ohio State fan but I have to tell you, I respect the fact that Hawaii is undeafed. I believe they should be playing for the National Championship. The trouble with their strength of schedule is simply the distance. Do you really think a Florida, LSU, or even an Ohio State would want to travel 10 hours to play a football game? Come on. As for strength of schedule, are you serious? What determines that anyway? The press mostly with preseason rankings that aren't always accurate. All I can say to you is Boise State 2007 Fiesta Bowl. Need I say more? Everyone thought they didn't belong their either. I say if you win all your games you should at least get a chance. In the event of a tie, then sure go to the strength of schedule. I predict that Hawaii will embarass the Dawgs.... Then what will we say about the BCS? hmmm Didn't everyone think that WV was going to massacre Pitt? Or how about Appalachian St beating Mich? Come on let them play for a title.

Since they are so confident that the Pats will win against the Steelers, why are they getting so upset about the mere mention of the Steelers pulling off the upset on Sunday?

If my team was 12-0, I wouldn't care what other teams fans had to say, and I certainly wouldn't get enraged about it, like most of you do on here.

So what if you drop one game this year? Is 15-1 so bad?

So what if you lose to the Steelers. The Pats are still in the playoffs, and that's all that counts, is it not?

Some of you act as though your entire team is going to go down in a big ball of fire if they lose one single game this season.

Oh, and by the way....come playoff time, EVERY team is 0-0.
