you obviously know nothing about playing sports. you cant be 100% every minute of every day. they may be professional athletes but they are still human. and humans make mistakes. we all get sick, we all get injured, and we all just have off days. and when a QB throws the ball away... its because he feels too pressured, doesnt see an open, and doesnt want to add a sack to the other teams stats. brush up on your football before you start saying the game is fixed. I am by no means a New England fan... but at least I appreciate the game.

very few games are fixed in the nfl.
Having barley beat the ravens and the eagles, just shows how hard it is for a top notch team to maintain their ability to win a perfect regular season.
The patriots have to play hard every game, and the ravens and eagles have to play even harder to win cause they have a statement to make (we are better than our record states).
Even if the patriots lose to the dolphins, we will probably see that turnovers and penalties and dropped passes will have contributed to a miamie win.
When new england meets greenbay in the superbowl, the patriots will be facing their second loss of the season, the first being the upcomming game with pitsburg.

yes i do think that all football a games are decided before they start if they ever play a real game that will be the same day i pick the winning power ball numbers correctly every week for the rest of my life. Not happening any time soon so why is it they players get paid so much money to fake games should be against the law there are hard working people out there who go to work every day to support there familys and strugle making a honest living yet never come any where close to what they make on top of endoresment money as well.

3 factors are at work, and none of them have to do with point shaving.
1) Its the NFL. The worst team can beat the best. Pittsburghs one of the top teams in the league (I'd say the 3rd best) but they lost to Denver, Arizona, and the Jets.
2) Its just started getting cold and that makes a pass first offense much more difficult. The ball gets harder and more slippery and it becomes tougher to catch and throw.
3) All NFL teams now have a lot of video on the Pats. Even in blow outs, coaches do things against them that work. Those things that work have added up and teams can now build entire game plans with them.

The NFL isnt a video game, there are humans involved. People drop passes, make bad throws and have bad days in general. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar enterprise and would never risk that. Tom Brady and Randy Moss are way too rich to be bribed to shave points, and unlike basketball, football officials cant predict the outcome of their calls so arent effective at shaving points.

It's not fixed, get real. Players aren't perfect and mistakes will happen even with the best of them. Have you ever been involved in any athletic team sports, you'd know. You get up for the big games and sometimes just try to cruise through the boring games and with the talent level in the NFL any team can beat any other on any given day.

I dont think the NFL football is fixed..but I do think a lot of the refs are paid off and I do believe they favor some teams over others.
My husband really believes the Ravens should have had that game because the last touchdown the Pats did, he did not have control of that ball.

I don't see it. Everyone has an off day. I think the Pats just haven't been all that motivated lately. They did what they had to do to win. And with athletes making the millions they do now days I don't see the incentive for them to throw a game or shave points. Would you risk millions to fix a game ?

Think about this. The more a plays the more opportunities other teams have to come up with a game plan to beat them. That is common sense, fool.
