If Jason Cambell were to return should they stay with Collins or go with Cambell based on his performance last evening.

Street, how can you say the Redskins don't have much say in it. They could always put Brunell in and play him. Not a smart move, but could happen.

As far as backups go, Favre was a backup when the #1 quarterback was injured. Since then Favre has not missed a start. Now Collins is no Favre, but played well.

Cambell is done for this season. His kneecap pop outta place lastnite and dislocated a shoulder. Lets see if Al Saunders will open his playbook up even more since Collins and him have been together for so long.

They are going to have to stick with him as Campbell is done for the season, did you see the hit, that has every CL in the book writen on it as well as Grossman for the Bears. ACL MCL you name _CL lol. Too bad that both had to go down with so much on the line for their teams, but I agree that Collins came in and played well and it will be Collins and ole Brunnell to battle it out. I think Collins is the best bet and should do well.
Campbell will be back next year and will be their #1 QB.

Cambell wont be coming back due to injury.
But since you didnt know that I hope you were drunk to consider starting Collins over a healthy Campbell!

yeah, go with cambell untill hes had his fill, and if the redskins cant get a better qb than collins, then play collins or keep collins as a back up or trade bait. lol :)

Campbell is out for the season, I think. But, if he were healthy, Campbell should start. He's a better QB than Collins, and the future of the franchise (as dismal as that is).

He's a 10-year backup for a reason. Just look at how Eagle fans were wanting AJ Feely after the Patriots game...then he laid an egg the next game.
However, it doesn't look good for Campbell to return this year.

Cambell is done, so they're stuck with Collins. He did good against a mediocre defense.

Redskins dont have much in that matter. Campbell's knee is jacked and he was in a wheelchair after the injury. Collins is pretty much it for them. I dont see Campbell coming back this season.

negative. just because someone has 1 good game doesn't mean they should start every game. I could understand if he went out there and went 30for32 475yds and 4tds ,but he didn't..plus this guy hasn't thrown a ball since 2004 before yesterday's game
