What is the difference in Karate and Tae Kwon Do? Also -- he has a little temper -- do you think either will help with that. I've heard that they help with control.

They both only cost 1 run so what does it matter is the ball has struck a leg or not.

Oh, by the way, what's the difference between leg side and on side. I know where the off-side is but is the opposite side called the on or the leg side? If they're the same why have two terms?
Is an on drive the same as a leg drive?
Is a leg break the same as an on-break?

regarding the play of Ted Ginn:

Chambers said. "He grew from the first to the second to the third game. He runs good routes. He has great hands. He's going to come along. It's good to see him grow."

I'm a Dolphins fan living in Ohio
so I got to watch him play quite a bit in college

he never showed good hands or good route running

is Chambers blowing smoke up some butts, or did Ginn actually look like a respectable receiver?

I will be hunting mostly wild pigs(50-200lbs) and reh deer (about 40lb bucks) in germany. I want to get the most out of the rifle model I have chosen and need to get the most out of a barrel that is only 20in long. I have been told all three of these calibers would be a good choice, but I am not convinced. How can I get more distance out of this barrel lenght? 7x64 is common here, as is 30-06. I have just been told .308's are also a good round (never used it). Take into consideration I do own a win. 30-06 in the states as well as a win. .270; so I am shying away from those two calibers for my new rifle. Regardless, I am out for performance and doubling up on calibers really isn't a huge deal if I can utilize every inch of barrel. Please help in my decision making. Thanks for your time.

As a a jets fan i think that the jets are going to go 16-0 with Chad Pennington struggling to hold up the superbowl trophiee due to his weak arm.

But the realist in me see the Jets going 7-9 at best and missing the playoffs.

What do you think the Jets record will abd reasons why?

Reports are that Yates Racing has said it is willing to give up the No. 38 to Hendrick Motorsports to use. The #3 from his father plus the #8 that he ran for DEI - put them side-by-side and you get #38. So although Dale Jr. had said he might like to try the #81, #38 appears to be what he will use. source: autoracingsport.com

I think that was awfully nice of Yates to give up a number. Nice considering his step mom wouldn't give him #8.

Gotta be Dock Ellis. Who else do you know who would wear hair curlers to practice, trip acid and throw a no-hitter and throw a bat into the stands at a heckler?

But the clincher has to be in 1974, when Dock felt like his teammates were playing too timid and needed inspiration and announced before a game against the Reds, "We gonna get down. We gonna do the do. I'm going to hit these mother****ers." What followed was Ellis beaning Pete Rose, Joe Morgan and Dan Driessen, almost hitting Tony Perez on 4 straight pitches to walk a run home then throwing two pitches at Johnny Bench's head before he was yanked from the game.
Ellis said later, "I tried to deck him twice. I threw at his jaw, and he moved. I threw at the back of his head, and he moved."

Is it just me or do they have to keep saying that the are still the best team in base even though they are clearly not. Do Yankee fans realize that the BEST team in baseball would probably lead at least their own division. What the H3LL is wrong with them?

Passes Double at "New" Bristol: NASCAR’s Loop Data shows green flag passing during Saturday night’s Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway more than doubled that of the spring race at Bristol – from 991 passes in the spring to 2,147 passes Saturday night. The consensus opinion held by the drivers at the conclusion of the race rang loud and clear: the new surface at Bristol Motor Speedway met – and exceeded – expectations, as the addition of a second and third racing groove greatly increased the number of passes – and thusly, the competition. Take a look at the total passing numbers from the spring and this past weekend:

2007 Green Flag Passes at Bristol

Spring, Location, Summer
184, Frontstretch, 529
128, Backstretch, 487
313, Turns 1 and 2, 571
366, Turns 3 and 4, 560
991, Total, 2,147

The 2,147 green flag passes Saturday is a 108% increase over the spring race at Bristol.
