losses and T. stands for ties.I don't understand how some teams can have similar G.P. and their T.P. are different.This is for kids house league,just in case there are different rules for the league you are in.I am pleased that my grandson's team played well and were good sports, win or lose.Now that he is getting a little older I'd like to at least understand a bit more about the game is rated for it's points. Thanks for any input.

Idesiremoonlight , I think that playing a good clean game is more important that winning.I've witnessed where some coaches thought it was tackle soccer.It is a shame that coaches and parents don't realize that you can play your best but you can still lose. Winning isn't everything.

i referred back to to soccer league my own further David Beckham plays in ; to see how this GP and TP
was on the standings. To me and i could possibly be wrong, GP indicated the actual number of games played.
TP indicated the total points the team has. With each win , lose or draw the team has, a number of point come with it. As i can see some teams won every game they played
I wonder what types of players they are or more importantly, the type of coach they have.
As with my son, he played very hard, the ball just favoured the other team. Some parents get lost in the winnings of the games, then the spirit in which the child plays.
