Since very often the best team in american sports does not win the cup/league/whatever just because of the playoffs? And now Nascar is the same because of the chase. Gordon is clearly the best this year and there is a huge chance he could end up with no reward thanks to the chase. Do you think thats right that he(or any other seasons overall best performer) sacrifices his winning for our entertainment?

So, I am 29 and have just ventured into martial arts. I decided to do Taekwondo. I have always wanted to practice martial arts, but as a child my family did not have the money and as an adult, I was for a long time embarrassed by being so old and being a white belt.

I have been training for about 3 weeks now and am very impressed with the results and so are my instructors. I feel that I am ready for the yellow belt test, but have to wait for a certain period of time.

The school that I practice at considers anyone over the age of 12 an "adult" and they practice with real adults. Now, don't get me wrong, some of these kids are really impressive, but I feel that I don't get the attention in my class that I deserve, due to being the only real adult in the class. I pick the stuff up a lot faster than the kids, but don't know how to explain this to the Masters.

Any suggestions???????

Whether they are 70-23 or 23-72, they arent as appreciated as they should. What I mean by that is like products and souviners and fans. Just look at Yankees, they have a lot of nice hats with tight designs but angels only have a little bit. Garret Anderson made Club Record of 10 RBI in a night but not so much knows, but A Rod makes his 500th Homerun and the whole world knows. WHY IS THAT? Angels are playing so good right now. Maybe World Series will make things better.

I heard that John Cena was leaving to make a movie but not a sequel to the Marine, at around late Sept. or Oct. The title was originally going to go to Orton, either at SS or Unforgiven. But not sure now. How about the McMahon angle? I also read that Mr. Kennedy was going to be his son, which will then lead HHH to feud with him. If the whole story angle bombs, then it'll turn out that Kennedy faked some lab results to make him Vince's son. Undertaker will feud with Big Daddy V after joining SD!, 'cause Mark henry's contract will expire after Unforgiven. Batista should move over AWAY from any title shot!!ASAP! So should Khali, his matches aren't great at all. The Rock should come back, the WWE need him BADLY!!! RAW,SD!,ECW will most likely be brought together as only one brand. 'cause ECW ratings suck, SD! isn't going well either, and RAW is barely getting better ratings after the ratings drop around the Benoit tragedy. If offered GOOD money, Y2J will come back.WWE also needs him badly.

and moreover, they seem to think that its a children's thing, and that 4 year olds can do it. wow what sophistocated stuff can you teach to a 4 year old! i opine that no one under age 7 has any business learning martial arts ( which if you remember were invented as hand to hand combat styles for asian military members), not as an extra activitiy on the agenda of the soccer mom!
people keep asking, i'm 17 is it too late? it makes me downright mad to see that! is it too late? no, quite possibly if you had started earlier it woudl have bene too EARLY. that is to say, you might have had less dedication to it. which, afterall is really what matters most.
what has MA come to that its a "children's sport?"
