Dravid is best cricketer. Because he plays good when India were in difficult condition.He is consistent player.& he play for team.& ganguly is selfish batsman. He paly for personal records.

between the two Dravid any day is a better or a more complete cricketer.
Dravid has better technique can bat anywhere in the line up is suitable for test and ODI. He plays the short ball well can bat in the first 10 overs also in an ODI.
He runs well between the wickets which ganguly cannot do. Ganguly depends on the boundary hits which are possible in the 1st 10 overs or during power plays or when spinners especially left arm spinners operate so that he can take big cross batted swatts.
When playing against good fielding sides which more sides except india are focusing on becoming Dravid out scores Ganguly.
BUT AS A CAPTAIN GANGULY WAS THE BEST THERE WILL EVER BE FOR INDIA

I feel that you can't compare between both. The reason is
each has its own style.
Dravid is very good in tests (bet than ganguly). Dravid plays very defensive and plays long hours on the field. Ganguly's advantage is that he is a hard-hitter in the restricted overs/powrplays.
But Dravid also attacks when run-rate required is high and also takes very quick singles when nedeed.
Dravid can't play good in the opening slots in ODIs (top-order) but is one of the great backbones of middle-order.

According to me both are good cricketers but as you ask me to make a choice between them then i will go for
The Bengal Tiger,
The Prince Of Kolkatta,
The Dada- Saurav Ganguly.
Because he is a most successful captain in the Indian Cricket, he has a aggration what every captain need to manage the team like great captains has- Ricky Pointing, Steve Waugh, Kapil Dev etc.
And as far as Rahul Dravid Concern he didn`t have aggration, he always take wrong decisions as he does earlier and now he is doing the same.
So, According to me Saurav Ganguly is the great and best player and Captain of Indian Team.

Dravid because he is better average in batting test cricket and one day International Than Ganguly.You can said Ganguly can bowl but They are lucky wickets.

dravid is better performer than the ganguly.
he not a good batsman of indian team he didnt play for a long time . he is very expensive in the opening side. he cant convert the chances to big scores
dravid make a prefect game plan when there are overs &wikets in hand he play an atacking game
at time of contigencies he play slowly
but gaguly always play same
