Backspin is just a product of a good swing. As long as you make a descending blow, are accelerating through the ball, and are hitting it relatively straight (slicers and pull hookers aren't going to spin the ball back) the ball will spin. Harder hitters typically generate more spin as well, which is why all the Tour players are so good at it.
I believe some clubs produce more spin than others. Different clubs have different grooves in the face that may produce different amounts of spin, and most players who use blade clubs will tell you they can spin the ball a lot more than they can with game-improvement clubs.
That being said, it is not that difficult to park the ball with a set of cheap clubs with a lot of offset if you have a good swing. And just about every gap wedge, sand wedge, and lob wedge fall into the "blade" category, so the clubs most likely are not the problem if you can't spin the ball.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

Use a high loft wedge like a pitching wedge or a sand wedge and an 80 compression ball (a lady's golf ball will make the higher spin rate easier to achieve)

You do not need any type of club of anything... all you need to do is learn on how to pinch the ball while not being afraid to take a nice chunk of grass. just be carefull that you are not hitting it really fat. you want to make sure that you are pinching right behind the ball with a steeper swing.

No, you must hit down on the ball and don't be affraid to take a chunk of grass. When you see grass fly as the pros hit it, thats when they hit a spin shot.

Yes you have to chop down on the ball and follow thru. And yes Ladies Balls are softer and easier to put spin on.
