With the plea agreement being worked out, it is indicated that although he is suspended from the NFL and will most likely be imprisoned, there is a likelihood that he will return to football after his prison sentence is served. In a statement made, it was expressly indicated that he did not 'bet' on the outcome of the fights as this would render him unable to return. Now, look at Pete Rose, he denied, then later admitted that he gambled and bet on baseball, although not on the teams he was involved with at the time. He has been banned for life from baseball and can never be admitted to the Hall of Fame for all that he did do right in the sport. He bet, but never harmed another living thing by doing it. Shouldn't Vick be subjected to the same criteria as Pete Rose? Should the NFL look to the MLB for their lead in such a case?

what do you think? will this end in submission, strikes, or will it be lame and go 5 rounds to a decision with the fighters avoiding each other.

They have the league's best offense and defense. The also have second best quarterback in the league (and i think might be the best by the middle of the season), the best rushing tandem in the league, the best receiver of the last 10 years in TO, and an offensive line that just got better with the addition of Davis. The defense is awesome too. Roy Williams is the best safety in the league, and Ware can get to the quarterback on almost every play. With Spencer coming in the Boys wont let any team get more than 10 points per game. I expect them to realistically lose 1 game this season, with the outside chance they could run the table. What team from the past could beat this team?

In your opinion, how much cross training do you need to be able to consider yourself a mixed martial artist? Personally, it's just a title to me, but I know some people take it seriously.
(Note: I do not do much cross training and am not claiming to be a MMA)

Fanboys are not allowed to use time on the couch watching Pride, UFC, ect. when describing their training.

I am looking for a basic model 1911A1 with a parkerized finish. The Springfield GI model 1911A1 is out of my price range. The Rock Island Armory, which I heard about from another of my questions, has some similar 1911's for 300-350usd.
I have a few problems with the pistols I have seen so far, I want one with checkered grips and the "US" stamp on it, all of their grips are smooth. I don't mind spending a little extra to replace these grips but while considering this another issue came up. Rock Island 1911's are 6+1 instead of the original 7+1, I want the original 7 rounds and this means the 7+1 grips might not fit, right?
Also, I have called 4 gun stores they all carry Springfield 1911's (some are in stainless, which I don't want and some are on backorder) but I have not found a single Rock Island. I have searched the web endlessly and have not found a website for them either, where are they and why no website? Can I get a 7+1 RIA 1911 and replace the grips?
