NO, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT ACTION TYPES AVAILABLE AS SINGLE-SHOTS. BREAK-TOP, BOLT-ACTION, FALLING BLOCK, TRAPDOOR, ROLLING BLOCK, AND EVEN LEVER-ACTION. THERE WAS EVEN ONE SINGLE-SHOT REVOLVER, THE RUGER HAWKEYE.

FALSE. NO GUN IS FOOLPROOF, AND A FOOL CAN HAVE A NEGLIGENT DISCHARGE WITH A SINGLE-SHOT. BUT HE WON'T HAVE MULTIPLE NEGLIGENT DISCHARGES WITHOUT RELOADING.
