Not only does he have the most spectacular KO of the year on his HL real, Gonzaga is extremely heavy handed. Anyone who steps into the cage with him has a good chance at getting knocked out, not to mention he is a incredible jiu-jitsu practioner.

If Randy decides to stand and trade he will probably get knocked out. While Randy has better technique as far as striking goes he just doesn't have the power to knock someone out.

Edit Post Fight: Wow I couldn't believe Randy took that head kick and kept coming, he stated that the shots he took in the 1st 2 minutes of the fight really shook him up. Randy is the man, but the fight would have been alot more challenging for him had that accidental headbutt not broke Gabe's nose, he had alot of heart hanging in there as long as he did.

I am picking Randy. Some of that may be sentimentality (after all, I am a 44 year old amateur MMA fighter), but I think that his experience will give him a good chance.

I see this fight going to the ground and it being a battle between Randy's wrestling and Gonzaga's BJJ. I am predicting Randy in 3, but it should be a good fight and could clearly go either way.

Not good. He might get submitted, but Ko'd I dont think so. I'll pick Randy in this one. I think that he is so smart that he will find a way to win this fight. To all those who say that Gonzaga is so much better on the ground and that is why he will win, I say Tim Silvia was by far better standing up and Randy found a way to beat him at his own game.

Gonzaga is a monster, but Randy is a master of all. Randy has the smarts and has years of experience. I don't know much about Gonzaga, but I do know that he has an amazing kick. I think with this fight I'm going with Randy. I would love to see him take the win against Gonzaga. Don't get me wrong... The chances of Gonzaga winning are pretty darn good. Look out for that kick Randy!!!

Randy is trying to proove age is not a factor... and it's almost sold. I'm rooting for the guy, and if anyone can overcome age he can.

But it's not a good matchup for randy, and he knows it. His only edge is experience. Ganzaga is hungry.. and that makes him dangerous. Maybe experience can overcome hunger... maybe not.

I give Randy a 30% chance to win. Hell, anything can happen right? In that enviornement experience has an edge.

his chances don't look good, but he's pulled out wins when he was expected to lose. i am afraid randy might lose this one. gonzaga has heavy hands and with his jujitsu can cancel out randy's wrestling.
most likely it will go to the ground, and whoever takes top postion will take the win with ground and pound

pretty damn good if he gets caught off guard like cro-cop..
but randy has always been good at defencing an opponent's
advantages ( except those two fiascos with lidell)....saw a
couple of gonzaga's fights (before cro-cop) and he wasn't
really that impressive....

Randy's so smart a fighter, but it's hard to think with your brain bouncing around in your head. I say Ganzaga round 3. and I hate saying it.

I'm thinking more like referee stoppage from repeated elbows.
