Is this a baseball or hockey question. The guy above me was talking about baseball. Anyway, i think that call me crazy, Colorado Avalanche will go far in the playoffs this year. They usually have pretty good seasons and i think next year they will surprise lots of people and possibly make it to the stanley cup.

The San Jose Sharks will make it far into the playoffs or go all the way. The San Jose Sharks have been wanting a Stanley Cup For the Longest. Now That the Ducks have a cup the Pacific Division is gonna heat up.

The Buffalo Sabres
Despite everyone writing them off, they have a lot of talent coming up from the minors. Since Buffalo didn't sign Peca, they must think the talent coming up is ready to shine. So, I expect a run through the playoffs from a 6th seed position that will be similar to their surprise run 2 years ago.

I have four teams in mind:
1. The Jamaica Jackals - They'll surprise everyone with their "high"-scoring techniques
2. The Mississippi Mud Hens - A star-studded line-up, their chemistry will be very surprising
3. The Tennessee Red Necks - They're already missing teeth, so hockey will be a natural environment
4. The Mexico City Muchachos - It'll be tough to beat these hombres.
Drop the puck already!

I don't know if it's going to suprise anyone, but I think it's the Colorado Avalanche. I think they will go far in the playoffs, but I don't know whether it's surprising or not. I think it's a little surprising because we missed out last year.

my Leafs for sure. i mean no playoffs appearance for 2 consecutive yrs & then BOOM@!! altho i would b extremely surprised if the Sabres went far let alone get in the playoffs. i mean they have good goaltending but their 2 best players/captains are gone, i would like to c how they handle!! (they still have some potential,as much as i hate to say it.)

i actually think the new jersey devils....everyone is writing them off before the season starts, but i think they will go far, like always....the devils havent had a REALLY strong team on paper in year yet they are always around when the playoffs come and far into them too....i dont see this year being any different

You will all laugh, but mark my words. DO NOT count out the Devils. DO NOT! Ever hear of the old saying that says an injured dog and a cornered dog make the best fighters. They lost Gomez and they lost Rafalski.. that makes them weaker, but they are still the Devils. If you look past them on your schedule you are in for a world of hurt.
WELL also My Maple Leafs.. but I assumed that went without saying. .

Vancouver Canucks. No one saw them coming last year and they're only going to get better because Luongo and Naslund will be better and the Sedins have more experience.
