Goodell is trying to clean up the image of the NFL. I give him that as a good thing. He is going to destroy the NFL with his habits inwhich he handles players that have had problems. Odell Thurman of the Bengals was suspended as we all know and applied to be reinstated. He did his time, paid for his mistakes and accomplished all requirements to be reinstated. Everyone makes mistakes and deserves a 2nd or 3rd chance depending on the violation. Odell is still a very young man and has had to learn things the hard way just like most other people. Goodell denied him reinstatement into the NFL. He wants Odell to mess up again. Goodell is taking this young mans life away without a chance to prove himself. Odell should be around the bengals players and staff in a positive atmosphere instead of on the streets where he would be down on himself and life and more than likely go down the wrong road. Goodell , give the young man a chance. If it happens again, you know its the end!!!

It has been 100% proven lance did epo in the 99 tour, 6 frozen urine samples through various stages (most that he won) PROVED he took EPO during the race. He was "Trained" by pro-tour doping specialist Dr. Ferrari until the gentle doctor was found guilty of teaching cyclists how to dope and get away with it. ALL of his closest competitors during his tour wins were associated with or found to have used enhancing drugs! Furthermore, his cancer could be attributed to the various types of steroids he was using while he was coached by Chris Carmichael while on the US national team. Please try to explain how I am wrong intelligently. And try not to use the smelly people as an excuse!!

I think so.
People talk about him as if he's a god.
Yeah, he won against few great fighters, but he lost against no-named opponents.
His fighting record is not that great either!
15-8...

why cant credit be given to a team when its a team effort----

fact is, walsh stunk at stanford after he left the 49ers. carmen policy and dwight clark have done little in cleveland in the past ten years. lott, montana, rice all finished their careers elsewhere being quite productive for their respective teams.

to credit walsh as the person responsible for the 49ers success is quite inaccurate.

Does anyone else think that Sharapova needs to ditch her dad? I mean I really don't see a great improvement from her since she won Wimbledon in 2004. I know she is great, but is it time to freshen things up? After her grand slam win in the US last year, it just seems that she's loosing touch. She was totally dominated by Serena in Australia and again at the Sony Ericson Open in March. She cannot sustain against Ivanovic having lost twice to her (French semis and earlier in January when she retired). She played a good DFS Classic tournament before Wimbledon but alas was overpowered by Jankovic. And we all know what happened at Wimbledon, although Venus was unstopable!!

Undoubtedly Sharapova will be a Grand Slam winner again, but in your opinion should she 'ditch her dad'?

Henin-Jankovic final in the US. Henin to win!!

I read that 2007 Wimbledon Woman final had high TV rating because of Venus in the final.
So, I guess all Williams Final would be more TV rating.
What do you think?

INDIANAPOLIS -- Kevin Harvick was summoned to the NASCAR principal's office following the Allstate 400 to clarify post-race contact on the backstretch with race winner Tony Stewart.

Harvick said it was a standard congratulatory love tap, not retaliation for racing contact his team felt might have cost him the race. Thus he won't be penalized, NASCAR said.

Harvick and Stewart were racing for the lead with nine laps to go and made contact, caving in the left front fender of Harvick's Chevrolet and hurting the aerodynamics of the car. Harvick quickly dropped through the field and ultimately finished seventh.

"The car just won't go with 100 pounds of downforce knocked out of it," crew chief Todd Berrier said after the race.

Harvick was not happy.

"He's always the first one to whine about people not giving him enough room, and I gave him plenty of room all day to race, and he winds up knocking the left front fender off, and we wound up finishing seventh," Harvick said. "It is what it is. Just race them how they race you."

Stewart said he made a mistake.

"I didn't mean to get into Kevin," Stewart said. "Winning that way would have ruined winning the Brickyard 400."
