a quick question why do people train in pyjamas ??
its not like you are gonna wear your "gee" in a fight if you say 'well it gives you flexability' then when your in a fight wearing jeans or a skirt , well that sort of wastes your time training doesnt it ? plus it looks stupid. If you are training to fight wouldnt you want to train in the clothes you actually wear in everyday life and train in a real situation that actually really happens .
like if you are attacked your not really gonna do a spinning back kick and flip around jabbing 300 times thats just not the reality of a fight so why train in something that you wouldnt really be able to do in the 'situation'

Charles Oakley
Dennis Rodman
Ben Wallace

whats up with all the sledging and the dumb behavior on the field by some of the England fielders?

Oh matt prior...buddy walk the walk and talk the talk!

Dude kept harassing Dinesh Karthik about his spot on the team (since he plays primarily the wicket keeper spot...same as Dhonis) and DK ended up putting in a solid performance in the test

what ends up happening? Prior out for 11 in the first innings and getting his middle stump dislodged while scoring 7 runs in the second innings puahahah....guess he should watch his back and worry bout his spot on the team first!

I mean i don't mind playful banter...its just a little bit of trash talking that goes on in every sport and I felt like England crossed the line during the test

Ok, you see, I want to start jkd after about 3 years of taekwondo. I know it is a philosophy and not a style, but I am getting confused because people keep saying jkd can't be taught because it is not a style.

So is it silly for me to start jeet kune do? If someone asks me which martial art I do, do I say "I study the philosophical aspects of all martial arts", or can I just say "I do jkd"?

ps I also think that jkd HAS become a style, and it is impossible to prevent it since it is unlikely everybody will start studying martial arts philosophy.

I think their season was last season. Unlike the Patriots and Colts who almost go every season, I think that with a new coach they are going to do 9-7 at best. I actually like the Chargers, but see that everyone talks about LT so damn much. What if he got hurt for 3 games? If he didn't, could they do what they did last year without Scottenheimer? Coaching is more important in the NFL and football in general than any other sport. I hope they can produce what they did last year, but with their schedule I don't think they can. I know they have Merriman, Gates, Rivers, LT, and plenty other weapons. Just want to know without a bias point of view.

I want to know why Rocky fought allot of bums (no bodies)? How is it that he fought more white fighters than blacks? How is it that he fought white fighters who got beat up by black fighters? Also why is it that he fought old washed up champs but never faced a young and eager Sonny Liston??? Im not being racist for everyone to know (I'm a white guy) simply put I just want to know why Rocky didn't fight some of the young and talented fighters of the era.

It was said that after the Moore fight Marciano stated that Moore really hurt him like he was never hurt before with that knock down he suffered early in the fight. Did that scare Marciano and is that why he never fought Floyd Patterson a boxer who was more than willing to get in the ring with Marciano? Why did Marciano retire so sudden he only had 49 fights compared to boxers back then who were racking up over 100 fights? I don't get it I know Rocky was bad *** but I don't think he proved himself amongst the all time greats.

Two years ago, I could search for days without finding anyone who actually claimed to be a Brewers fan. Now they're everywhere. Are there really that many Brewers fans out there, or did the city of Milwaukee just recently get internet access? because I have to believe that anyone who claims to be an actual Brewers fan was probably rooting for Boston two years ago.

The NASCAR powers that be have struck again. This time it was Tony Stewart they hit. Last time it was Dale JR..
They are as overly sensitive to a little cuss word as the powers that be in charge of yahoo answers are.
When you interview someone who has just won a major race, like Tony and Dale JR had done, you have to expect them to be pumped up. Neither one of them were swearing at anyone They just used a word that 90% of the population uses in everyday conversations.
They say Tony used language detrimental to stock car racing. How could that be detrimental to stock car racing?This sport was the creation of old moonshine runners not chior boys.
So I ask you people from all around yahoo answers.
Would you stop watching your favorite sport,(no matter what sport that is), just because one of the stars of that sport cussed in TV?
I think someone needs to stop the sissyfication of NASCAR before France makes the official color PINK and puts frilly lace on the drivers uniforms.
