I don't believe much in such matters in which the coach is of our country or foreign. Because it's the 11 players who have to play in the field and not the coach. The coach only guides the team.

I think Indian team serving better without foreign coach b`coz they don`t have any pressure or any kind of fear in their mind for losing places in the team or doing their work on different positions that means they know what they want to do and how they can do. I also think that they were not performing good b`coz they have coach like Greg Chappel who try to dominate whole team. But i think Indian team need a coach like John Wright or i prefer go for Indian/Desi coach like Sandeep Patil or Mohinder Amarnath.

Since Indian team have done reasonably well without any foreign coach after resignation of Greg Chappel, I feewl that the present system should be continued.

Too be really honest, its got nothing to do with coach. I do agree that a good coach can help in team's perfomance but he can't make the team world beaters. Believe me! Team met success with Indian as well as foreign coach. So we really can't tell that Foriegn coach is better or Indian coach. Everything has its pro and cons. Team like Srilanka & Bangladehs had success through foriegn coaches but at the same time team like Australia had success through coach of same country.

Its should not be the debate about the coach. Bcoz he jus gives inputs and can help till u pad up and get down to the pitch. But what matters is how the players perform. So it all depends on the players. Even if u leave the Australian side without the coach they will still perform like this.

The Team India has been performing better now than the period when Greg chappel coached the team India and sucked more than Crore rupees from BCCI.

hi, idont think that the performance of a team depends upon coach,we could take the xample of aussies, they r no.1 team without a star coach, the main thing is this they play as a unit and r the best one in their respective areas.so if the team has fire power in within then they can beat anyone without having a foriegn or indian coach.
our team lack spirit that is the main cause of our defeats.we should develop a fighting spirit and should have courage to face any adverse conditions, i.e. mental toughness at his best, then we can conquer any where, because we have a team full of champions!!!!!!!!!

Why not ? It will serve with any good Indian old players. We are unnecessarily wasting our money by paying to foreigners . It is criminal waste. One more thing I wanted to say in this forum, Why not we start one University for sports alone and bring all walk of life together and practise vigorously to compete with any team in other countries. It is possible if the Govt., think like this. What do you say about this suggestion my dear? Yours VRVRAO

I think India is better without Batting Coach. Senior players can take care of many aspects of younger players.
