Yes. The only thing he should be endorsing is prison color jerseys.

A lot of people here are of the mindset of guilty until proven innocent. I would love for all of you to be accused of something, and get treated the same way. This is not what the justice system was built on. It was built upon the belief that everyone is INNOCENT until and IF proven guilty. He has not been found guilty, and yet everyone is talking like he has been. Ignorant fools will judge him, and treat him like he has already been found guilty.

Drew Blood... The comparison attempted to be made was not well thought out, and is totally off. To compare Nike pulling Vick's gear with Disney canceling a Michael Jackson show is downright foolish. Disneyland is a place where kids roam, and play. Putting a potential pedophile like the then accused Michael Jackson is like putting a lion in a lamb's cage. You are putting him in direct contact with that he was being accused to abusing. Nike makes his shoes, and while this negative press hurts their company it's nowhere near the same as the Michael Jackson case.

Do I think he should lose his endorsements? I think he has more pressing matters than that right now. If he is found innocent I think he deserves an apology from organizations like the Humane Society and PETA (AKA Nut jobs). Kobe Bryant was able to get a good portion of his endorsements back after that slut accused him of rape, and if found not guilty, I am sure Vick will be able to get his back as well.

Finally, don't be an ignorant fool like so many, and judge Vick guilty now. The Duke Lacross and Kobe Bryant case should have taught everyone to reserve condemnation until a verdict is rendered. Remember... INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty!

Dog fighting is illegal in all 50 states. It is also illegal to attend a dog fight. He is not a person to look up to. He has been witnessed pouring water on a dog and electrocuting it after it proved unworthy to fight. He has been known to beat dogs to death just because they don't meet his standards. He has been actively involved and is lying to the courts that he is innocent. There are witnesses. I don't want my kids wearing anything that says Michael Vick and I want Nike to know that. He is a criminal in every sense of the word. I understand he did not make training camp because of his schedule in court. There are many people asking the Falcons to get rid of him. Perhaps when he gets the six years in prison, there won't be any more discussion about what he deserves or doesn't deserve.
I also want amazon.com to know that I won't spend a penny with them anymore because they provide books and manuals that help these criminal learn how to train and breed these dogs. They also contain ads so that those with criminal intents can buy the paraphernalia they need to conduct the sport.
The only good thing that came out of all of this is that the nasty "sport" of dogfighting is getting enough press so that people can't ignore what is going on and just how brutal it is. Laws are being passed to protect animals from those that would exploit and harm them and those that break the law need to go straight to jail.
Here's a guy that got real lucky to be where he is and to have what he has and he has to do something as ignorant as get involved in dog fights. He needs to go to jail for stupidity.

I seen on the news he is starting up a new business to aide in his legal & financial troubles. He started his own line of dog biscuits; they are going to be called Vick’s Bix. I believe they said something like 2 flavors are being developed right now with a few more coming soon afterwards. I think they said the first two flavors will be dog flavored and cat flavored but I am not that certain because I only caught the tail end of the story. I think they will be available in a few select markets by the end of the month. I will Google it and post some more information…………

Dude, think about this for a moment. Would you pay an accused animal torturer who is HORRIBLY unpopular and controversial right now MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to represent your sneakers? Guilty or not, Michael Vick is a negative public figure right now. And any company that keeps him will be accused of supporting him, which ultimately could cost them tens of millions in consumer purchases. So yes, Nike is perfectly justified in cancelling their contract with him. I would too if I were them.

(This is like asking if Disneyland was justified in cancelling Michael Jackson's CAPTAIN EO from their 3d theatre after he was accused of mollesting kids!)

YES-Endorsements aren't the Legal system ...Endorsements it truly is guilty until proven innocent once the consumers have any reason to believe the person trying to sell them sneakers has little morals. It's all about image and whether guilty or innocent

The high profile corporations can't let their image be associated with scandle. Americans are too fickle. Nike is protecting themselves even though there has yet to be a trial. If you haven't noticed, this Vick thing has raised quite a stink.

It doesn't make a difference his reputation is ruined. If your a stock holder of a multi million dollar company do you want your product to have anything about Vick. How many car commercials and movie has OJ done since he was found not guilty

If there have been a interest, it would be disrespectful to the situation while you evaluate that's a intense rely.

Yes. When Kobe had his little scandal he got dropped by all his endorsers. Vick's scandal seems to be making a bigger splash, i'm surprised he hasnt been suspeneded yet, or kicked out of the league.

Of course, keeping him around would hurt the Nike companies image and that would cause them to loose clients.
