Everyone is a "future Hall Of Famer" at some point.

Will Suzuki earn the bronze plaque? I don't speculate on players with less than the requisite ten seasons, but he is certainly doing many things right and going in the right direction so far.

Yes. He'll be hitting like this well into his late 30's and possibly 40's. When he retires from baseball he'll have over 3,000 hits, he'll probably go to at least 5 more All Star Games, and he has an MVP and the record for most hits in a season. If that doesnt gurantee you the HOF I dont know what does.

If he plays at his current levels for a few more years, he's a lock. If he left now, he'd still have a shot....though not a guarantee.

He's a pure hitter. He can put the ball where ever he wants to put it. He has exceptional speed. He has great baseball instincts.

He plays an exceptional outfield...in center or a corner. He has a cannon for an arm. He takes perfect routes to the ball.

He makes players around him better. He respects the game.

All of these are considered by the voters.

Had he played in MLB his entire career, he'd be legendary.

it will be a unique situation for ichiro. he came to the big leagues with an already very successful career in japan. his MLB numbers alone may not be enough to get him in, but add that to what he did in japan, hell yea.
but it's the baseball hall of fame, not the Major League Baseball hall of fame, so his chances are good. look at the guys who only played in the ***** leagues and never the MLB who are in. it would have been a joke to leave josh gibson out of the hall and it would be a joke if ichiro continues playing how he plays for 10 more years to not let him in.

confident. Ichiro has a mixed total of over 3,000 hits between Japan and the MLB. He additionally has the checklist for many hits in one season. he's a corridor of Famer undoubtedly. and that i think of Ken Griffey Jr. gets inducted as a Mariner and not as a pink.

Yes. By the time his career is over he'll surpass 2000 hits and he is currently hitting a career 331. Hes the best pure hitter in baseball and if he stays healthy is a shoe in for the Hall.

First of all he needs 10 years as a player in the American major leagues. Since he recently signed a contract extention, that shouldn't be a problem.

If he continues playing near the level he has, or even below it a bit, he'll make it. Actually, come to think of it he'd have to completely collapse not to make it.
