In my searching I can't find historical proof for many events occurring in the Bible. The census that brought Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem, for example, was ordered by Quinirius. The problem is that historical records show this census occurred 10 years prior to Christ's birth. And why would people be required to return to their ancestral home and not their place of current residence? This is one of the several things I cannot reconcile after thorough reading of the Bible and other historical books. For crying out loud, I can't find any other historical evidence outside of the Bible that Christ existed...or that if he did...it was a small cult that followed him. Mature discussion only, please. Thank you!

God told Adam and Eve to "replenish the earth" in the King James version of the bible. Yet there was nobody here before them (replenish), or was there.

This meant, before they were cast out for sin, if they refused to eat the tree of life, they would grow old and die.

in john 5:3, "i can of mine own self do nothing..."
the above line is refered to jesus when he claimed that he can do nothing by himself, meaning to say, he is lack of power.

john 14:28, "...my Father is greater than i."
the above statement also says that the lord (father) is greater than jesus, so jesus is imperfect god.

deuteronomy 6:4,
"hear, o israel: the lord our god is one lord."
jesus told everyone that there is only ONE god, none else beside him includes jesus.

so, the question is, is jesus a god? or begotten son of god?? ehh, there is no such thing of begotten in any bible versions nowadays except for king james version. if jesus is a god, he is imperfect. but, do you know that, everything that imperfect isn't god. god must be perfect because god is god.

another, god must do the goddy thing. do you expect a god to has sex? nor eating? somewhere in the bible says, "behold the man of gluttinous, and the winebibber.."
ha? a gluttinous god?? very funny.

What is this crazy obsession that has overcome everyone - obsession with celebrities. Sure, they are great with their talents etc, but they are not Gods. Sometimes I think that people who spend their whole lives to help others, and those who work around the clock to save lives and find cures - are ignored. Am I the only person who is seeing this?

Everyone keeps saying Jesus is god, but if that's true then who is sitting at the right hand of the throne in heaven? He was praying to god before he was killed, so was he really just talking to himself? He asked god if he could pass on this but only if it was god's will, so was he having some sort of inner debate? I believe in the bible but this whole trinity thing makes no sense and came out like some generations after his death by the Catholic church, so if there is a trinity why didn't he mention it? And if he did die for 3 days (if he was god) did that mean there was anarchy in heaven? I mean wouldn't the devil kinda capitalize on this? Serious answers, this is honestly confusing. Obviously that means that god can't get everyone to like him because a mob wanted him dead and that doesn't seem very promising. Someone really needs to straighten this out.

The Hindu community, especially the youths (most of them) do not care about their culture and nowadays there are lots of young boys and girls changing their religion because they get married to someone from another religion. The children nowadays are not properly cultured according to their religion. Most of them ignore the rules they should follow as a Hindu

I'm not against anything, but please, the Hindus here, can you tell me if the Hindu religion will still exist in some 20 or 50 years?

"The spiritual training of Jesus

In the Himalayan fastnesses Jesus was instructed in yoga and the highest spiritual life, receiving the spiritual name "Isha," which means Lord, Master, or Ruler, a descriptive title often applied to God, as in the Isha Upanishad. Isha is also a particular title of Shiva.19

The worship of Shiva centered in the form of the natural elliptical stone known as the Shiva Linga (Symbol of Shiva) was a part of the spiritual heritage of Jesus, for His ancestor Abraham, the father of the Hebrew nation, was a worshipper of that form. The Linga which he worshipped is today enshrined in Mecca within the Kaaba. The stone, which is black in color, is said to have been given to Abraham by the Archangel Gabriel, who instructed him in its worship..."

Was i being an jerk?
twouys came to the gym with their sister, girlfriend(of the one guy)They aren't particularly fond of me because of tension i've had with her(she's persian so it's a different culture)and various incidents. They were in one section working out and i basically stayed near them in that section and glanced at them from time to time and i wouldn't venture too much out of there.Eventually the guy looked at me when my back was turned.Do you think they were annoyed?I don't take crap from anyone although i wasn't trying to start anything i stayed steadfast in the areain.(i continued to work out,but kept my eye on them as well).I didn't go anywhere near the girl though. She looked like she may have wanted to talk but i just ignored her.But anyway, about the two guys, why were they giving me those vibes?

Take for example the penalty for adultery--In the Jewish Torah the punishment is death by stoning--in the Christian New Testament it is forgiveness accompanied by a warning not to sin again--& in the Muslims Koran the punishment is 200 lashings in public--Why does Abraham's God keep changing his own rules??
