Does anyone know what is the scripture that contains these words? Thank you for your help.
(I mean in the Bible, not in the Dharmappada - Buddha said the exact same thing)

I heard that muslims believe that Jesus was real and accept him as a prophet but not the final prophet. Anyways the bible says you don't go to heaven (like 99% of the people saved) you go to New Jerusulem here on earth b/c earth is for humans and not heaven. Heaven is for God and angels and people that prove to be very rightous. So how does that work out since it's suppose to be the next step of the religion but doesn't really talk about the same reward?

people that dont believe in the Christian religion yet celebrate it?
I dont understand??

Like Christmas. There are people who say that Jesus wasn't born yet Christmas is the time when Jesus was born. Holidays came from Holy days, our calender shows Easter, Pentecost and Christmas.

As a Catholic Christian I've tried to find out why, yet I can't. I want you answers world!

*Please dont report this! I just want to know!*

Now most people can live without meat, fish or Poultry unlike in past when Jesus lived. Jesus lived near a desert where people can’t depend only on vegetables. But now anyone can b a vegetarian. This can be a test of god. Try if u r an animal and a man comes to kill you….

but doesn't it bother you that Jesus more then likely was not born around Christmas time and yet every one insists to celebrate it as such anyhow?

I am a Pagan, and last night I attended a lutheran ceremony about christmas. Turns out however, while I was trying to teach my son about the meaning of Jesus and Christmas, so he understood all the facts, the entire service was about how you can celebrate Jesus in Halloween, st. valentines day, thanksgiving, etc. They did it by months of the year, but ended up skipping all those without a major pagan festival... I didn't know weather to be annoyed or outraged or start a giggle fit....

I was honestly trying to teach my son, why christians celebrate Christmas. They had a manger at the end, but it was about thirty kids shoved in a small area, singing away in a manger.... you couldn't even see where the fake jesus was!

So what is the focus of Christmas? I thought of all places that a church would tell my son the story of Jesus birth in the Bible!

Pagans: is it important to teach them the meaning if they themselves don't focus on it?

Christians: where did jesus go?

1. You sit carving up your turkey and stuffing your belly full, yet you do not seek out the poor & needy to share even a portion of dried bread with them. Ye hypocrite.

2. You swill down wine until you are sick. You choose to forget that wine is a mocker. Ye hypocrite.

3. You think of how greatly your wealth has grown over the last 12 months. Yet do you not remember that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Ye hypocrite.

Thank you for taking part in this survey. If you have answered yes to one or more of the above, thou art a hypocrite and shall not be written into the book of life without true repentance.

Sorry, I don't call anyone "Lord". I am an free man, an American citizen and I bow down to NO man; nor do I recognize titles of nobility

Why are the Baptists such teetotalers? Thats so lame. Jesus himself liked booze

Bill Leonard, dean of Wake Forest Divinity School, said many Baptist churches served real wine when observing the Lord's Supper late into the 19th century. "I know for a fact that First Baptist Church [of] Savannah, Ga., in particular, used wine for communion until" the 18th Amendment, which instituted Prohibition nationwide, went into effect in 1920, he said

Among Christians and other students of the New Testament, Cana is best known as the place where, according to the Fourth Gospel, Jesus performed his first miracle (scholars would note that it was His first miracle in Cana, acknowledging that His disciples were present at the feast, but with him in Capernaum where Mark records miracles after the temptation; Mark 1:25,31,34.), the turning of a large quantity of water into wine at a wedding feast (John 2:1-11) when the wine provided by the bridegroom had run out

I have spent most of my life far away from family. Being a shift worker, I often work Christmas. Like now, bummer.

My heart grows tender thinking about family and friends.

I also think about Christ, the season reaches into my soul.

You Christians often say that God wasn't created, that he always existed. That he essentially is an example of something being able to design and organize itself.

If God can design and organize himself, why can't the Universe have just designed and organized itself, and thus, have always been, with no need for a creator?

Again, your belief that God always was, smacks of hypocrisy, because if God can just "be", why couldn't the Universe just "be", with no need for an All-Powerful creator thrown into the equation?

Why have the hypocritical faith that God can create himself, but have no faith that the Universe couldn't simply do the same??
