You Christians often say that God wasn't created, that he always existed. That he essentially is an example of something being able to design and organize itself.

If God can design and organize himself, why can't the Universe have just designed and organized itself, and thus, have always been, with no need for a creator?

Again, your belief that God always was, smacks of hypocrisy, because if God can just "be", why couldn't the Universe just "be", with no need for an All-Powerful creator thrown into the equation?

Why have the hypocritical faith that God can create himself, but have no faith that the Universe couldn't simply do the same??

Bushrod Isbister- Its hypocritical because you apply the element of faith to one thing (GOD), but refuse to consider applying it to another (The Universe's self creation)!!

Sadly, that post is about 30 IQ points above 90% of Christians. And on a lighter note, did you know 50% of statistics are made up?

But yes, that is the simple logic I like to fire at creationists, not once have I ever heard a single argument to counter it.

Actually..tis the other way around...you want us all to believe that the universe came into existance from nothingness (Creation without prior Creator), but then when we describe the same thing about God, we are mocked for believing in a God who exists outside His own creation.

No sir...the hypocrisy is in those who deny God, but still believe the same rules for denial need not apply to the universe.

We are not called to convince you that GOD exists. When you realize that HE is and always was, you have found the beginning of all knowledge. Until that happens, you cannot understand anything. The good news is that GOD has sent a way for you to find the knowledge you seek. HE did that because HE loves you even though you hate Him.

Why is faith in an everlasting God hypocritical? Its not. You ask a legitimate question, why demean it by adding an insult?

It is Christmas morning here. Please think about how much God loves you and that He sent His son into the world to demonstrate that. Don't get so wrapped up in things, dear. God is, He loves you, enjoy your Christmas day.
