Who can understand that I grieve for those who despise the Gospel of Christ, who cannot discern things temporal from spiritual, whose judgments arise only from the wisdom of men? In those who have never known the joy of communion with God, I witness bitterness and pride, compulsion to challenge all things holy, debating the things they know nothing about, asking for proofs they would never fathom.

I would that God would have mercy on them, and on me, to relieve my sorrow, or that in His grace He might give power to my witness, to help them know Him.

Yet in His will I live because He is sovereign, and His purpose is perfect

If so, why haven't there been any documented cases of things like spinal cord healings, curing of AIDS, severed limb regrowth, etc? The stuff I always see are the "healings" of people that don't really have major medical problems or, the healing can't really be proven. What gives?

I'm made to understand that translation of the present Bible was made from the Greek version of the Bible which claimed to have been derived from a translation of the original Aramaic language (used during Jesus' time).

Muslims are willing to defend other Muslims when other Muslims are being persecuted , like Afghanistan because you are all part of an ummah. By the same yardstick , if Muslims in Pakistan persecute Christians , then Christians in Christian majority nations have a right to retaliate against the local Muslims, right ?

As you are part of the ummah and are responsible for any crime committed by the ummah . The ummah is one complete body ,right ?

Since everyone is so caught up discussing paganism in Christmas, I thought perhaps it might be interesting to see how many pagan things influence our everyday life.
Have any examples?

Psalms 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

Therefore, how on earth can The Law be removed and how can it be a "curse"?:
Galations 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.."

Furthermore, Jesus never abolished The Law(this was acually Pauls doing)
Matthew 5:17-18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Why do Christians elevate Paul over Jesus and King David??

I have a friend who sent me a Christmas email saying that the day has nothing to do with Jesus, but it is "now, as we all know, the celebration of the Birth of the New Sun." I think he's full of crap. WTF does that even mean?? If it's not about Jesus, then why is it called CHRISTmas? Shall I ask him that?

Where WOULD Exodus 20:4,5 apply to your faith?

You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them
