Who can understand that I grieve for those who despise the Gospel of Christ, who cannot discern things temporal from spiritual, whose judgments arise only from the wisdom of men? In those who have never known the joy of communion with God, I witness bitterness and pride, compulsion to challenge all things holy, debating the things they know nothing about, asking for proofs they would never fathom.

I would that God would have mercy on them, and on me, to relieve my sorrow, or that in His grace He might give power to my witness, to help them know Him.

Yet in His will I live because He is sovereign, and His purpose is perfect

You should not feel sorrow. Be happy with your religion.
There is no need to feel sad.
There are many different roads that people travel on, seeking the truth. Just because I take a different path than you do does not mean you should feel sorrow.
Rejoice in the diversity of man and the different ways they worship and seek the truth.
Merry Christmas to you and all!

I think you need to get over your persecution and elitist complex. No one despises something in which they do not believe. There is no gospel of christ. Jesus did not write anything.

If you have any knowledge to contribute, any evidence to produce, please do so. Ranting like this does not contribute to knowledge.

perhaps people despise what the church has turned the teaching of jesus into, not the teaching of jesus themselves....
