Matthew 5:22 ,23 - "“YOU heard that it was said to those of ancient times, ‘You must not murder; but whoever commits a murder will be accountable to the court of justice.’ However, I say to YOU that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother will be accountable to the court of justice; but whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court; whereas whoever says, ‘You despicable fool!’ will be liable to the fiery Ge·hen′na."

Mathew 5:43, 44 - "“YOU heard that it was said, ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU;"

1 John 4:21, 22 - "If anyone makes the statement: “I love God,” and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also."

I hope this clears things up a bit...

Journey Well...

If there's one thing God dislikes, it's a hypocrite, and bigotry is hypocrisy. How can one person be "better" than another simply based on race or the colour of their skin or hair? The *person* is what's inside.

God judges a lot of things that humans like to think He doesn't--NOTE that I did not say "God condemns"´, I said He *judges*. He weighs and decides.

To judge on self is to judge yourself, God dose the deciding before all men and women who stand before his court of heaven. May you find answers in your heart. Never to judge others even if they had judged you. You know you are stronger than that. May have mercy upon those who do.

Of course. He has the right to. Who are we to turn our backs on another of His creation?
Does God forgive bigotry? Of course, He has the grace of forgiveness to give upon request. But you have to mean it you know.

lucee, perhaps you forget Matthew 7:1 "Judge not lest you be judged" 7:2 "For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you."

We are arrogant if we think we know God's will. And then there's that whole "judge not lest ye be judged" thing.

However, I like to think so.

Well, we are not to judge others. Bible says to judge one person, yourself.

BUT we are to judge what is sin and what is acceptable...so that we do NOT join it. We are not to follow sin, even if the multitude accepts it. (ie homosexuality to me is unacceptable, despite what the liberal media teaches children) SO...we are free to keep away from sin. AND free not to judge others, we judge what is right for ourselves.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I don't think that means being a bigot. I think God would frown on that, but thats just me. Merry Christmas.
