I heard that muslims believe that Jesus was real and accept him as a prophet but not the final prophet. Anyways the bible says you don't go to heaven (like 99% of the people saved) you go to New Jerusulem here on earth b/c earth is for humans and not heaven. Heaven is for God and angels and people that prove to be very rightous. So how does that work out since it's suppose to be the next step of the religion but doesn't really talk about the same reward?

I think u have been misguided look the person who spends his whole life practicing Islam and the person who commit sins are not equal at all in the sight of Allah he is much more superior who do good deeds and stops himself from doing evil things and sins .In the sight of Allah superiority comes from God consciousness by knowing God better by submitting the will to Allah subhanatalah
Lets take an example
Suppose if a person is committing a big sin since 10 years now if he request Allah for forgiveness then remember he has to stop doing that sin and also intend never to do it again then inshallah Allah will forgive him and also convert his sins by good deeds.
Now if a person is stopping from sins since 10 years, doing good deeds etc then remember he and that person is not equal because stopping from sin is also a good deed it is such a big deed that a person who stops himself from doing sin is like a “mugahid”(a person who strives in the way of Allah) can the same thing be with the sinner and both of them get the same sawab?
You have written that a religious person may go to hell forever this is totally wrong in fact no Muslim will remain in hell forever after his punishment he will go to heaven and no hafiz and no poor person can take someone to heaven unless Allah wants him to go to heaven and Allah knows
Which one has the deeds to go to heaven.dont take such a risk that a hafiz or poor may take you to heaven just follow the commandments of Allah and his prophet so that u can enter heaven because Allah can never be unjust. one thing I want to clear here is there are many heavens and may be a person giving water to a cat go to lesser degree of heaven and the person burning himself after punishment go to a better heaven and reference that you are giving to surah furqan there is no such thing as that that Allah will forgive all the sins on the day of Judgment
Once prophet Muhammad (p b u h) was asked who is better person “he replied the one who has a long live and who do good deeds” than he was asked who is bitter “the one who has a long life and who do bad deeds” he replied
We do good deeds in order to reach the highest heaven and remember the bigger the stronger the deeds the greater the struggle in the way of Allah the greater the reward in the life hereafter
The Holy Quran has criterions for getting entry into Heaven, and none of them is that you have to be a Muslim. They are all based on Good Works/Prayer/Belief in a higher power for example: being good to your parents, giving support to the poor... the basic societal moral deeds..

A BAD Muslim will burn in the fires of hell, and a good moral person that is a Jew/Christian will see the eternal lights of Heaven. This is in the Quran... Like the many comments above, people misunderstand the concept of an Infidel and in what context is an infidel condemned in the Holy Book. The infidels that the Quran mentions are strictly within context of the particular event/history in which it is mentioned. For example... the Quran says defend yourself from the infidels and you may use force. When people read this out of context it seems like all the Quran does is condemn every non-muslim, but.. they fail to read the entire verse/chapter in which these specific "group" of infidels are constantly killing and assaulting the newly formed Muslims under Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). When God permits the use of FORCE anywhere in the Holy Quran it is ONLY for self defense. Every single time the Quran speaks of using force against someone its always in the context that you can only use it to defend yourself or another innocent person. You have to READ the whole CHAPTER not just A VERSE to get the moral meaning out of the entire story. This IS TRUE for all BOOKS not just the Holy Quran. It inflames me when I see people quoting the Quran OUT OF CONTEXT and using it as a base to insult the book itself. It is childish and WRONG.

But back to your question... If you are a Muslim and pray 5 times a day but after your prayer you insult your parents ... you will be accountable for the consequences... If a Christian goes to church and comes home and respects his/her parents all the time and is a morally good person HE or SHE WILL GO TO HEAVEN. THIS IS contrary to the Christian beliefs that no matter how much SIN you commit as long as you truly believe in Jesus Christ at some point in your life, your sins will be forgiven. This Christian theology is something that I strongly disagree with.

I suppose he said it because he believed it. It might have been to encourage the "faithful" who need instant gratification. The righteous are resurrected and meet the Messiah in the air. A thousand years later the wicked are resurrected, and then later still the earth is purified with fire, and then He makes all things new.. So where are the saved for the intervening 1000+ years? I suppose they are in heaven, though Scriptures do not say specifically.

The followers of Mohammed were not like the Israelites. God lifted Prophet Jesus due to the rebellion of his contemporaries. Jesus will be returned to the earth to slay the Jewish False Messiah who will rule from Jerusalem. Jesus will be sent down at Fajr Prayer (the dawn prayer) in Damascus to join the 150,000 strong Muslim Cavalry (dressed in white) who will march south onto the Evil leader carrying nothing but swords against the highest technology on earth. Faith will win over material technology. Mohammed had a full 23 years to convey the perfect and last message to mankind. To reprove the world of sin and establish the final LAW. .
