Odds are he was already on earth as a normal person like evreryone else here.
That he was divine makes no sense to a simple mind.
People who believe he was god are raised, thaught and encouraged Not to raise questions about this belief;they just swallow it passively.
but it is their right to swallow it passively.
this link below will delve deep in unveiling his nature

I think that people who report questions or answers with which they disagree are control freaks.

That said, to answer your opening question: No. Jesus did *not* "come down" to Earth for the simple reason that he's a fictional character.

Now, do your homework. ;o)

Did a historical Jesus exist?
http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm
[Excerpt]

ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.

Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.

Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

I believe that Jesus was born, and I believe that he lived his life. I believe that he did have a ministry, and I believe that he was ultimately crucified for opposing the Pharisees.

I also, however, believe that the accounts of his life in the New Testament were exaggerated and otherwise misreported by unscrupulous men with agendas. Seriously. The Apostles were untrustworthy, at best... and even if they wrote what they saw with 100% aaccuracy, who can vouch for the three primary contributors for the New Testament's creation: a Roman Caesar, a British King, and several American Corporations... some of the most greedy, underhanded entities in Human existence?

Jesus didn't "come down" to earth. he was a person, here on earth. He was a man, who was minterpreted, and also had a larger than life ego. SO, MY question is, when you say come down? Do you mean from Jesus? or is this a price is right thing? Because, he was here on earth, he didn't go up anywhere until he died..... and is now a key step on the path to true enlightenment.........

Evidence supports that there was a man named Jesus that lived about 2000 years ago. He lived in the Middle East, was Jewish and was a carpenter.
All of that mythical, supernatural stuff is hogwash.

Also, there is nothing in your question that would cause it to be reported.
It is a sincere question.

I think there once was a man named Jesus who spread a message of love throughout the land, and died for his cause. I respect and worship him for these good deeds.

I don't, however, believe he hovered his way down from the heavens, or that he's going to do it again in modern times. I'm just being logical.

When he was born if that counts. It says he will return and everyone will see it. That no one can hide from it. So if your not aware of it chances are he hasn't come a second time.
