Now most people can live without meat, fish or Poultry unlike in past when Jesus lived. Jesus lived near a desert where people can’t depend only on vegetables. But now anyone can b a vegetarian. This can be a test of god. Try if u r an animal and a man comes to kill you….

Jesus didn't ever say that to my knowledge. Considering that many animals were ritually slaughtered and burnt as a sacrifice suggests some waste (they didn't eat it most of the time) in his society suggests the opposite.
As far as meat is concerned, people can live without eating it, but our bodies are adapted to eating meat...it is what our body handles best...and in a society where people eat alot of empty calories (grains) meat really helps balance the diet alot.
If you take out agriculture (eating grain-staples) and replace it with a good variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and some meat/(dairy) you will be far healthier, humans are NOT supposed to eat grains.

Sorry, if you are a Christian then you believe God designed you, and that design is clearly that of an omnivore, with heavy leaning toward meat eating. To say that we should only eat plants is in essence, to say that God did not know what he was doing when he created you.

Watch how other omnivores and carnivores eat, humans are for the most part, much less brutal about killing.

Of course people can survive without eating any animal. Some vegetables can be sources of protein and it is VERY possible indeed to have a balanced diet without having to eat any meat at all and just adequate amount of fruits and vegetables. In my own opinion, people right now eat meat because in a fast paced world like ours in the present, most of them cannot afford the luxury of time to cook vegetables considering that most fast foods are offering meat [hamburgers and etc.]. And also since hundreds of past generations before us was used to eating meat, it was just passed on to ours.

The Bible it self is a very figurative text and we can not just interpret it by ourselves without God's discernment. Maybe if you really want to delve deeper on this issue try talking to someone who knows more about things like these. Try talking to people who study the Bible or to your priest or anybody in your church about this matter :-) God bless you!

Nowhere in the Bible are we commanded to be vegetarians. There is a curse for those who add to scripture.

In Bible times they had access to the same meat sources we do. They just didn't eat the unclean animals (pork and shellfish) we shouldn't either.

The Messiah didn't tell us to stop eating meat or stop killing animals. Although there is no point in killing animals for the sake of killing.

Jesus knew that humans were created to eat both plants and certain animals to live a long and healthy disease free life on Earth. Not just plants and not just any animal, fish or bird.

it's unnecessary to eat dead animals. I've been a vegetarian for 6 years and feel a lot better not eating any flesh.. or any living thing with a CNS.

I tried to go vegetarian, I didn't eat any beef for a year, but eventually I caved in. I just don't have the willpower, sorry. But if you can I totally envy and respect you.

The animals I most like to eat are little baa-lambs and fluffy bunnies. Yum Yum. Can I have some more.

Sry but humans are omnivores, meat plays an integral part in our diet. If they where sentient i might care but since they aren't i have no problem eating them.

I will never stop eating meat, but I admit I couldn't kill the animal, skin, and prepare it.
But, who are we to say trees and such don't have feelings?
