Nostradamus does NOT predict the end of the world.

He predicts the start of World War 3, two completely different things. The world will still go on after WW III is over.

I for one believe his predictions. I believe he predicted 9-11. Heres the quatrain:

The year 1999, the seventh month,
from the sky will come a great King of Terror:
Resuscitating the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign Happily.

This quatrain seems likes its wrong and predicts nothing; but it actually predicts 9-11. I'll break it down and show you.

[The year 1999] --- I'll save this for last.

[the seventh month]
Presently, we use the Gregorian calendar. But during Nostradamus’ lifetime they used the Julian Calendar. The seventh month on the Julian Calendar is September.

[from the sky will come a great King of Terror:]
WTC attacks from out of the sky made Bin Laden the most famous terrorist (a great king of terror).

[Resuscitating the great King of the Mongols,]
During Nostradamus time the Mongols where knows as Tartars, who terrorized Europe by their attacks. And they also were Muslims. During this time Mongols, Tartars, and Muslims were synonymous to each other. The radical Muslims of today believe a great leader (king) will unite them to conquer the West and the world.

[Before and after Mars to reign Happily.]
Mars is the god of war. We have been at war since the attacks.

[The year 1999]
Nostradamus admitted in his writings that he was a poor mathematician, and he used math to calculate the dates by the movement of the planets (from the 1500's to now is a lot to calculate), he didn't predict dates out of the blue. 1999 was based on his own mathematical error and not his prophetic ability. He miscalculated and should have put 2001 instead. In his writings by his own admission he said that he could be in error with the dates he calculated.

I think he really did predict 9-11. But most people misunderstand Nostradamus' quatrains and think its random and unconnected to each other, when most of what he predicts is one massive future event thats all connected and he predicts this event through his quatrains. This event is World War 3. This is triggered by an invasion of Europe by massive Muslims armies, led by a great leader who unites them all and who is the anti-Christ.

His predictions also coincide with Bible prophecy.

Em, well according to science the world is coming to an end. Known fact. The sun will run out of energy and explode, or implode, or something equally devastating resulting in the demise of planet Earth. But that's way in the future. Not anything we should loose sleep over tonight.

From what little I know about Nostradamus, he would have been a great poker player. Always hedging his bets - never being too specific - just letting people get on with leaping to their own conclusions without any facts.

I just hope no Jehovah's Witnesses read this question because they seem to think they are the only people astute enough to realise the world is coming to an end, sometime real soon (although they've been predicting that for about 100 years now). If they think someone else beat them to it, they're going to be really put out!

Want to give us the latest prediction - like a specific date? And am I believer? Not in Nostradamus.

Nostradamus was definitely connected with some powerful spirits. Whether this was good information, or an attempt to deceive is the next question.

Mat 24:41 Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Nostradamus also predicted around 2007 there would be a great questioner who really only had one question. He just really wanted to know what he should do. What should I do?

No

It's not coming to an end what is coming to an end is evil war, sin, Satan's activities, lies, murder and all manner of filth that behold the eyes of God.

The Earth itself will be renewed fresh the survivors of the coming tribulation/Judgement and the People who are raptured out of here will live in the new Earth free from war disease death violence and all manner of sin.

It is true that the world is coming to an end. It will be a slow coming, perhaps 5 billion years. So what.

The many volumes of religious literature also state that same idea. I guess since the world has a beginning, it is quite possible that it will have an end.
